Why is shadowshot the only super in the game thats not a 1 hit kill in pvp i know that people are going to say oh but yall get unlimited super in pve im apvp player hows that gonna do me any good n oh its a support class but so is sentinal n there supresion nades do the same damn thing as our super basically and another thing why is the damage reduction while firing it so damn low but novas got way more bungie u must def hate hunters smh

4 RepliesWhile i agree tether needs a buff, i can see y its not a 1 hit kill. HOWEVER, the tether should be almost instant if not instant, it litterally takes like 2 to 3 seconds to tether sometimes and by that time u are allready long gone dead because while u are casting tether, they are still pumping space lead into ur skull.

Nova bomb should have two or three bombs, golden gun doesn’t last long enough, arc blade takes WAY too much damage, shadowshot needs to be a one hit kill, defender also needs to be a one hit kill lol. Shadow shot is absolute garbage if you try to one shot someone, takes too long to actually tether. Its meant to be set down as a trap hence "way of the trapper"

Well I nova bombed a striker Titan while in his super and it didn’t kill them. Direct hit and he just walks through it fists me. All supers need to be looked at. They feel so weak in comparison to D1. On the topic of shadows shot. It should always kill a non super guardian in one hit like in D1. It should also instantaneously suppress any supers that you hit directly. And the activation time if you hit the ground or a wall needs to be made faster.

Takes too long to shoot, takes too long to activate, takes too long to suppress, doesn't do anywhere near enough damage on direct hit, and doesn't last nearly long enough to work as area control. The whole subclass would be useless if not for the loot radar.

I made a similar topic in feedback, I'm not so sure making it one hit is right but it should start tethering as soon as it hits an object in pvp, whether thats a player, a wall, the floor or whatever. Ive had titans smash my tether when its on the floor and destroy it before it even gets a chance to take their super away.

I completely agree. Quiver tree is trash. The hit detection on the arrows is rough but acceptable, but the damage per shot in crucible should compensate. The fact that you can fire 5 or so arrows (I think?) before the super burns out and they can’t one shot kill is ridiculous. Also the cast time is kinda slow, and the actual tether effect (suppressing supers/abilities, etc) is even slower. I literally haven’t touch anything in nightstalker except trapper/Orpheus Rig because it’s the only build that gets you serious results.

I don't see why it wouldn't be a OHK. I think if the arrow hits a guardian in PvP it should definitely kill them.

But it has built in Blood Bound, which in this very team, stay together oriented PVP is very strong and can easily wipe a team. The aim assist isn't great tho, so it would be nice to one shot if I manage to hit somebody directly.

Make it tether on impact, would help the Mobieus quiver be more useful, and would be a good way to shut down supers.

You get unlimited* super in PvE with a certain exotic that hasn't dropped for everyone, and if it's an unlimited super and you know destiny, expect a Nerf sometime soon

1 ReplyI don't know if it's a buff it needs but tether needs to fixed. It's too inconsistent. I'll place it in strategic places to force a team wipe or prevent a super from wiping my team, for example at the top at the end of a hallway, but literally 90% of the time it won't detonate until after the people have passed through the choke point and gotten directly in my face with either a super or a heavy weapon. The few times it works it does work, and quite well I might add, but most of the time I find that I find more use out of the dodge then the actual super.
