Why is shadowshot the only super in the game thats not a 1 hit kill in pvp i know that people are going to say oh but yall get unlimited super in pve im apvp player hows that gonna do me any good n oh its a support class but so is sentinal n there supresion nades do the same damn thing as our super basically and another thing why is the damage reduction while firing it so damn low but novas got way more bungie u must def hate hunters smh

Now that it's actually a support class its not good enough? Just remember guardians be careful what you wish for Edit. Oh yeah let's give hunters max mobility... then mida... then a perk that gives them movement speed for each super kill... And then we we give them a 1hko super?? With multiple shots?!?!?... I mean really can't you just be happy ever?

20 RepliesIt's not meant to be a outright killing tool; it's supposed to be work like a trap. Fire the bow at a high traffic area and catch a few people then go in and wipe them. You have two offensive supers already. Golden gun; a hit scan shot with no drop off and able to shut down supers very quickly. Arcstrider; used to quickly dispatch opponents with fury strikes and dodges to throw off aim. Nightstalker doesn't need to outright kill it's fine as it is I play on my hunter a good bit and I have no problem with not being able to kill with it. Just adapt your play style to the reworked super instead of trying to use it as a spam aggressive tool

Storm trance is not a one hit kill.... I hate to break it to you, but you're using Shadow shot wrong. Want a one hit kill in PvP? There are two other subclasses that allow that.

This used to drive me nuts when I mained NS in D1. I would land this beautiful arrow show square and someone's head and they wouldn't die, proceed to kill me, and immediately disable my tether. For what might be the hardest super to ACTUALLY hit someone in the game, it is very weak. This is coming from a guy maining a Titan BTW

1 Reply1 shot version should Slow 1HKO with bonus Teather range after the target dies. Quiver should NOT 1HKO but rather stack damage the more targets you manage to affect.

It feels like a 1 hit kill, but really it does 66 damage per tick. The only reason why this is noticeable in practice, is that you'll basically never out-duel another super if you're both engaging head to head. Fist of Panic vs Fingers? Yea. Point Panic. Golden Gun? Point Gun. Nova? You bet Nova. Hammers? Point Hammers. Arc Strider? Strider Wins. Shield? Shield Wins. Hell if Shadow Shot manages to not bug out and the tether goes off properly, it'll shut you down too. You get the point. That said, I think direct hits should be rewarded with a kill because of how wonky aiming SS is to begin with. I also think the tether delay should be decreased/removed because right now by the time tether activates it's usually too late. Oh! Also tether is the only super that won't persist through your death. Fist of Panic Pulse persists. Nova Bomb AoE persists. Hell even Sun Spots persist. But once you die, your tether goes away or otherwise just stops working/dealing damage. Huh.

That is crazy it’s not. I hate hunters, main Titan, but it’s pathetic when a night stalker hits me directly with a teether, but I kill them. That should never happen.
