Iron Banner disappointment
Its literally quick play, but instead of crucible tokens its Iron banner tokens. I was hoping to break out of the boring crucible routine, but no.
GG Bongo. Just slap a different name on quick play and boom! Iron Banner. Couldn't have been more lazy than that.
I understand that the previous Iron banner wasn't much different, but that does not mean that things should not improve. They could have given the game types a little twist at least. But I have to agree with everyone complaining about the tokens. Its getting pretty stale.

Good news for once. Bungie confirmed that there will be weapons. Its on their twitter. :/ don't have the link tho.

I hope they limit loot. If all IB gear is accessible through next week, most of us will have the entire IB set including weapons by the end of the week. With out random perks on weapons and armor there will be no reason to play this crucible re-skin. I managed to get all FWC and NM faction gear with minimal time invested... please make some things worth grinding for! IB was the only thing I played at the end of D1 - it was set up really well, even when they changed it with RoI!

1 ReplyWithout level advantage it's just Crucible with different gear. I know people say level advantage doesn't matter, but I'm trash at PVP but managed to do well at IB, thanks to my level being higher - definitely not from skill.

Every single other planetary engram/whatever have armor along with weapons of said engram(s). Why would they have the mode if all you get is the armor and nothing else? Seems kind of stupid to assume that. Just because it wasn't mentioned doesn't mean they're not going to be included.

iron banner : casual edition maybe theres a dlc for a competition edition. hate complaining about a game i have about 200 hours in and enjoy but theres zero incentive to do anything once you do that tedious not very fun raid (that glitches out 1/2 the time , exotics dont feel exotic at all esp when a chunk of them are re-used assets , pvp is just two playlist modes , the ttk in pvp is horrendous ( you gotta melee someone 3 times for them to die :/ and sometimes melee doesnt even register correctly) ...and god forbid you play solo or with a buddy , prepare to possibly get matched up with 4 clan members (happened to me last night 2 times the night before 4 times!!! lol )and so on and so forth
