That one friendly captain...
*SPOILER*
In the enemy of my enemy quest on Titan we meet a Fallen captain multiple times, and he seems quite cowardly and smart running away and the immense force he puts on the hive while not fighting us. I'm specifically talking about when he's battling a Hive knight, it's a close fight but it looks like the knight would win. Me personally, i love the Fallen, their lore, their culture, their everything pretty much, so i killed the knight, and the captain looked at me, did this weird thing with his arms (i want to say a salute) spoke and then he teleported away. I'm not sure how to think about this, and got really riled up about a potential alliance.

I actually did this just now and was wondering the consequences, I was playing the mission and had beaten it (Decided to kill the hive cuz they are rude bois) and the captain gave me a salute! I thought it was really cool so I did my guardian salute.... I punched him in the face and he died ;-; I thought he would be impervious to it be accuse he didn't hit me! I jumped and instantly alt+F4 and rebooted the game, Thank god it gave me another go and I got to let him live this time! Im happy and hope I meet him again (This next time less punchies)

Knowing the Fallen aren't really evil but the Hive are, I decided to help the Captain and killed the night. Didn't touch the Captain. The Captain didn't touch me. Was cool. I remember the story in the lore where some Guardian allies with a female Vandal (IIRC) and fights against the Hive on the moon.

I love the fallen. I did the exact same thing as you when I first did the quest.

1 ReplyDude... when you get trapped in the ring for a sec and the Captain gets released, he looks at you and just backs away into the elevator. He's a curious case, especially since the House of Dusk is... hostile.

5 RepliesThe Fallen aren't completely evil like the Hive are. The Fallen do what they need to survive since the Traveler left them. An alliance between us and them is still pretty possible, even more so with D2's ending.

Oh my days! I killed them both at the same time! I thought I was pretty sick too, blasting a shot right in the middle of them. love the Fallen too and I would have liked to see this.

That was your cue not to immediately attack him, but of course that went straight over most people's heads. I hope we see captain bro again.
