Hey guys,
I've played these 2 days of Open Beta, and my friends can hear themselves and me but I can't hear them, I've changed the voice chat for team and squad and nothing work, someone has a clue?

Same here, just did a guided nightfall strike and afterwards the two folks who guided me told me they were shouting at me the whole time and could hear me. I couldn't hear them at all. Listening through headphones and my mic is on a usb webcam. They told me they were going to report me for being unhelpful! :-(

Found Soultion!!!! I had the issue where I couldnt hear anyone, but they could hear me. Turns out my headset needed to be put in stereo mode and not 7.1 surround. I did this by right clicking speaker icon and going to playback devices. I went to the device that I was using to listen to sound and pressed configure on the bottom left. From there I changed it to stereo and low and behold I can hear people after 2 weeks of not.

Experiencing the same issue. I'm testing the sound in Battle.net. It records what I say and i can hear myself clearly. But in Destiny I can't hear anybody, even if they can hear me perfectly. I even get that little sound-icon, when I'm talking and when they are talking. But I just hear the ingamesound - not the voice chat. HELP!

Looks like this bug made it into launch. You're describing what I've been experiencing. Have not found a fix.

13 RepliesI have this exact same problem, fireteam can hear me - I see their names and speaker Icon appearing but I cannot hear them at all. Voice chant is enabled in settings and team voice volume is set to max. Hoping someone figures this out soon.
