1 ReplyNo need for grinding. The cutoff was Aug 1st, as stated by Bungie.

All D1 related activities that would earn you D2 emblems had to be completed. Y August 1st. So if you didn't have 5,000 grimoire by then you won't be able to get the emblem now.
