Think again. What you get in the beta is what your gonna get on release day. Don't hate me, I'm just giving that warning a lot of us didn't get before destiny 1 came out.
Ok let me clarify abit for these special needs people on here. This is a "W A R N I N G" to basically the noobs who didn't experience the disappointment after destiny was released.
This is not for the geniuses who believe everything they read. ✌

1 ReplyAtm in time all i can say is... Weapon system is shite Weapons are shite Supers are shite Ability and supercharging are shite Even the radar is shite... Been playing the beta swapping from 1 ar to another as heavy never drops, grenades charge is so slow i forget they are there and supers are ready just as the activity ends... Thats it.

Time to kill is just wrong, people aren't even getting into gun fights, get shot, run off, crouch in corner, come back get shot, run off, crouch in corner, you get the point, promotes little pussy syndrome...!

1 ReplyEdited by lazyandy: 7/22/2017 4:42:36 PMThe beta gives us an opportunity to provide feedback. Could you please tell me what exactly you expect a Bungie employee to gain from the contents of your OP so that they might improve upon the final release? Oh that's right, you already know that they aren't listening/gathering data of course... Posts that contain lines like 'the beta is s**t' etc are worthless - they provide nothing of value. If you are already convinced that Bungie doesn't listen and that nothing will change why even bother posting? It's self defeating... criticise by all means! But don't write extremely lazy/cynical commentary without basing your opinions on your experiences of the beta itself. Explain what you don't like or how they might improve things. It's just as annoying as people announcing they are leaving the game. It's a video game for goodness sake! If you don't like it by all means vote with your wallet and don't purchase - but what on earth do you expect to gain by announcing your doing so??? It's just self indulgent nonsense.

3 RepliesI don't know if I should even be saying this in fear that they might Nerf them, but they did get one thing right. AR's feel amazing
-
3 RepliesUmm, they said this build is "months old" Months old.
months
-
Anyone coming from D1 knows what to expect and knows the patterns of these same developers
-
3 RepliesDid you read the Weekly News update? The beta version we have is "months" old. Meaning that the full game is definitely not the exact same. Sure some things will likely be unable to be changed at this point in the development cycle. I am certain that Bungie will work on changing what is possible at the moment.

16 RepliesThe beta is an old build, however no amount of work will stop the game from being ruined. Activision have a clear path for Destiny 2. They want the pvp to be a competitive eSport, and this comes at the expense of the pve experience. They claim they have a brand new ground up engine for D2, yet glitches and bugs from D1 are still prevalent. This makes me think that they don't have a brand new engine at all, or if they do, they are copy pasting stuff in. If the engine was brand new, they should be separating the pvp and pve experience. The way weapons work so far in D2 are geared at pvp. They aren't geared towards pve at all. All the warning signs are here right now, already. But what will happen is the desticles (shouldn't say that because the pathetic ninjas come along and cry that it's an insult) will pipe up and say the beta is excellent, it's just what we needed and wanted. And they will simply not listen to the genuine concerns that players have for this game. The beta had given a glimpse of what Destiny 2 will be about, and how Activision want the franchise to go. And me, and a lot of gamers, and reviewers are seeing this already. Destiny 2 will sell amazing, of course it will. And then in 12 months time it'll feature in one of those articles online about games that didn't live up to the expectation and just ended up pi$$ing their fans off.

7 RepliesThey need to fix their matchmaking, everytime(not an exaggeration) I do inverted spire someone ends up leaving and can't ever gain back a third. It's extremely -blam!-ing hard finishing that boss off with only two people since power weapons, supers, grenades are all weak as f*ck. Bungie pussified their own godam game. They need to quit bobbing TWrecks nuts and realize vast majority of their playerbase cares about pve far more then their weak as 4v4 crucible BS.
-
6 RepliesEdited by lnfected Cookie: 7/22/2017 3:52:38 PMYou can't fix stupid, they're sacrificing pve for pvp, biggest mistake ever and bungie are total morons for not fuking separating the modes, laziness is what it boils down to. Disgusting.

Knowing this company is set in their ways on wanting Gamers to play how they want them to play. It's most likely what is going to happen. My Titan shouldn't feel like a hunter in it's super...
-
4 RepliesMost people thinking the beta is the final product.
-
Things did change from the destiny beta though... And they've already said this build is a month or so old and already being changed... So you're incorrect

Edited by Patient3591: 7/22/2017 4:13:40 PMBungie has already stated, the beta is based on the most recent build stable enough to handle an open release, which is months old at this point. Many of the changes people have been asking for since the beta were already being worked on based on internal play testing before the beta even released. Which is exactly what everyone should have expected based on the beta date - we're too close to release for our feedback to be implemented, but also too far from release for the Beta build to be the final build. We already know power ammo is going to drop more frequently, some enemies will be guaranteed to drop power ammo, grenades will be more effective in PvE, and PvE enemies will be less bullet spongey. No word yet on movement speed, super charge time, or ability cooldown time, so I wouldn't count on those changing. Weapon slot system is definitely not changing. So, no, what you see is not what you get. But, if you're not liking the overall feel of the beta, you probably won't like the overall feel of the full game either, because the changes being implemented are tweaks, not overhauls.
-
1 ReplyI remember Bungie daying this in the weekly update:
For example, we too felt that ammo (especially power ammo) was too scarce in PvE. In addition to retuning the drop rates, we built a system that guarantees power ammo drops for you and your Fireteam from certain enemies, giving power weapons a more reliable and predictable role in your arsenal. Other areas where we’ve made significant tuning changes include grenade effectiveness in PvE, Boss vitality, and weapon damage against non-player combatants.
7 RepliesAgreed. Here's the sequence of responses I've seen over the last couple months: Before you form an opinion... Wait for the reveal. Wait for the beta. Wait for the full game. Wait until you're leveled-up. WTF? We are not dealing with logical people here.
-
What do you want fixed?
-
No, i don't believe in fairytales.
-
It will.
-
7 RepliesNope. I think what came out recently is a good reason to say OP, you're wrong. Basic feel of the game will be the same, yes. But they already indicated a willingness to change PvE and not necessarily PvP. So listening to the community and making separate PvE vs PvP changes. That's awesome!! -more power ammo drops -more powerful grenades -Better boss vitality -Weapons doing more damage in PVE Not to mention they said it was a months old build. It's going to feel similar of course but it will also be pretty different. Mark the tape.
-
They're delusional fanboys, they'll do whatever to not look wrong since they're scared inside, they know it's ass. I'm waiting for this game to flop, I already called the beta was gonna be trash.
-
I think companies in beta give you some of the best content they have to make you want to buy the game. Bungie's TWAB was a PR move from all the backlash to save face. Beta was an epic fail.
-
I ve said once I ll say it again. Small tweaks will be made (power ammo etc) but the core gameplay stays the sane. Which is fine. I like what Im seeing so far.
-
That's funny because it's been stated in the weekly update that changes have been made for release.
-
Honestly people will complain about anything to get their way. Pretty pathetic. Pve ridiculously easy dont see why or how people can complain in that. Pvp competitive more team oriented so it be wise to run with an actual fire team. Pvp quick play isnt hard at all. People with basic gun skill can do good in that. D2 game hasnt even been released yet. Im curious when the raids come out and trials or iron banner. What people going to do then. Cry and whine just leave the game and play something else.
