Anyone playing the beta thinking it's only a beta and everything will be fixed by the release date.....
Think again. What you get in the beta is what your gonna get on release day. Don't hate me, I'm just giving that warning a lot of us didn't get before destiny 1 came out.
Ok let me clarify abit for these special needs people on here. This is a "W A R N I N G" to basically the noobs who didn't experience the disappointment after destiny was released.
This is not for the geniuses who believe everything they read. ✌

yeah, garbage weapon loadout system isn't going to change. Only played as sentinel titan so far, and all 3 jump abilities feel like hot garbage, doubt that's gonna change. I won't believe charge rate will increase until I see it in the patch notes. Not pre-ordering, may not even rent it anymore. The whiners won out and we got a basic, simplistic primary pew pew game.

You're right. Exact same thing happened in D1. Never falling for bungies hype again. Wait for the reviews. This is basically a very expensive patch. All they worried about was improving Destiny 1 instead of creating a completely new experience. That's why most people thought it looked like a DLC. They took all of PVPs complaints and completely destroyed any of the PVE fun.

Besides, it's Bungie and there is no trusting them - they promised golden mountains and a cherry on top in D1 too and most of it was lies. It's probably gonna be as trashy as it is now and Bungie will scramble for half a year or so to make some changes based on our feedback.

47 RepliesNo way. The major problem isn't tuning, though that is a problem. The problem with this game is design philosophy, and the lead designers themselves. This game isn't made for Destiny players, the people who kept the 3 year Beta afloat with their hopes of a better experience. Its made for people who didn't really play or didn't like Destiny 1. Crucible is not fun or satisfying, even when you succeed. Its a mess, actually. I won't be buying this game at launch.

Given Bungie's history of fixing things in a timely manner as well as them not commenting about ability recharge rate (my biggest gripe with the beta especially for PvE) but they have mentioned power ammo and damage in PvE, I don't think they will address some concerns that the majority of players have been vocal about.

i do hope things change, currently i feel like titans are very overwhelming (i.e. OP) while other classes feel really underwhelming. but then again, we havent tried every tree of the subclasses + each class is supposed to have another subclass. but can anyone confirm that there have been class changes in the builds after the one we've had in the beta ?

13 RepliesYes, he's right. On release day expect only 2 sets of all weapon types. There will be no armor perks or mods, those are just blank options. There will be 1 strike, 1 story mission, and 2 maps. The beta is the game. There will never be any tweaks. There will be nothing to collect. There will be no more loot, no exotics, no story line, no patrols, no raids, nothing interesting at all. This is the beta. This is d2 over the next 2 years. No changes..... these people are jokes. Yes there's issues. Tell bungie, play the game, and leave if you don't like it Jesus -blam!-ing Christ.

I think everyone should give this a good read. I think you will find it interesting and helpful if you are not pleased with the beta. We are playing an older version of the game with many patches having already been made. We are merely validating the changes they already made and giving them new ones to ponder.

2 RepliesWell the only issue with the D1 Beta, other than a couple of weapon balance bits, was no story. D2 Beta illustrates that's tremendously improved. Unless someone hates the "two primaries" thing (I'm enjoying it) then the rest is just tweaking numbers. D2 looks like it's going to be fantastic.

Wait... what you see in the Beta is what you see at release? Where's my Solar Suros? Where's my Void Bad Juju? Where's the extra Subclass slot where you customize a subclass and then lock it?
