Can we please be logical and keep Beta criticism constructive?
Ever since the reveal of Destiny 2 I feel all I see in these forums is whining and petty arguments. For our sake later down the line, can we please be civilised and logical and provide criticism that will help bungie improve the game?
Looking at Destiny 1, many of the changes made by the sandbox team deemed 'terrible' by the community were made because of mounting pressure from the players, resulting in the mess that is PvP now.
We really need to think before we speak and instead of crying nerf first thing, we should first ask ourselves why/how we feel something has to be nerfed or are we just salty over a time where we were bested.
In the end, this will really make everything so much easier. Being clear and transparent with Bungie will hopefully result in smoother, quicker balance changes as well as general community satisfaction.
Feel free to expand upon this below!
Edit: I am fully aware of where I am and the reputation these forums have with regards to logical decisions. I'm just trying to help us help Bungie better the game

Thank goodness the sprint mechanic is fixed. Not gonna lie it sort of blows that we couldn't customize our guardian like in the D1 beta, but aside from that it's been fun.

Well I have a hunch that a lot of the complaints are going to be something along the lines of "this game is not pertaining to my tastes and values so it is not good." Rather than "you are trying to do this with that but instead I think it is slightly doing this other thing more." Good luck on showing any reason in regards to the beta for the next week bnet.

Agree for the most part I'm looking forward to the beta(missed the D1 beta as I was away working) but have been always a detailed tester in past games I remember testing WoW Wrath of the Lich King during closed and recreated my DK during the test over 30 times just to give feedback on the starting area Destiny 2 beta is more a stress test but I will give feedback as needed Have fun Guardians

3 RepliesYour opinion isn't a fact. If I don't like the beta and have my own thoughts about it it's nobodies business. I will give feedback about it but people will get so mad so fast if they disagree with you on something. Fact and opinion are different in many ways.
