390 Legendary Engrams, I'm 400 with all 3 characters
Hey got a question for anyone & everyone who wants to lend me there thoughts on any Legendary Engrams that I collect farming or in missions crypto decodes any all of them come up 390. But Vanguard, dead orbit, Crucible etc new rank everything is 400 I get. I'll find tons of 390s. Oh I don't know if this is relevant to anyone else, every time I make a rank, no matter who or when but it's been almost a week & not a single set of arms. It's like I'm not allowed to get any. I keep getting legs or the character robes,sash or bond. There 400 on rank. Purchase or found its never 400. I'm at 400. I don't understand why 390. I have to break alot of them down just for space. Is anyone else having this issue? THANKS IN ADVANCE. if I have this in wrong forum, moderator can you move my post to correct forum. I just need to know if this is normal or I've got a problem. Like the free gifts in tower. I know location for the sparrow box. But it never showed for any of my 3, I still got the sparrow. This is the stuff that messes up our books. Among it being a super headache. Again thanks in advance.

Trying to understand your reason for why this bothers you if your already 400. The only reason why you would keep something at 390 is If the stats/ perks are better than what you have already. If that is the case, then all you need to do is infuse it up to 400 and go on your way. If it's not better, then you got yourself 3 legendary marks. This is why I keep extra exotic engrams, IB drops and reward packages so I have infusion fuel. If the item is the exactly the same but with better stats, then I infuse my old gear into my new one and pump motes to unlock the nodes. All I'm doing now is just grinding for different perk sets that also help me get to tier 12. I want to be able to switch out my gear to match my loadout (hc gloves when I'm using hc or scout when I use scout) that still keeps me at a tier 12. Same goes for boots and chest for ammo type/ subclass armor.

Destiny has always been this way. I think it's quite comical that you've been playing since release yet you still have no clue how this game works.

Legendary engrams only decrypt up to 390. This is intentional, not a bug. Faction packages CAN drop up to 400. This is also intentional. You are not experiencing any issue.

It just bungie being a tight arse when it comes to rewards for players. They have already destroyed pve patrol with this crap supporting a small minority of the destiny community that only focurs on pvp. If this sort of mentality continues then there is not much hope for destiny or the community that supports it

3 RepliesIt's not you, I got legendary gauntlets engram last night that decrypted into 390.And I am at 400,so it's normal.I do think if I am not mistaken that all legendaries engrams decrypt up to 390 and faction packages up to 400
