In destiny 2 Is it possible to make those exotic raid quest solo friendly? Let me clarify before the trolls come out. In wrath of the machine I loved the steps you had to take to unlock the exotic quest. Find the monitors, The rows and columns part, but the steps you had to complete outside of the raid were/are hard for players who are currently trying to do it as most players have already completed it and aren't willing to help noobs.
I get that many of you liked it, and am not by any means trying to get that team element removed for those of you who liked it, so please don't shit on me.
I just want the option (OPTIONAL) to do the quests alone when needed. I'm sure there are people who picked up destiny late and are stuck on certain parts of these raid quest because finding a team is a nightmare. It would be really cool if we could do those things at anytime in the games life with or without a team. Thanks for reading if you did cozmo. Congrats on the little light!
Edit: Also please pass this on. Please don't make exotic quest require pvp. Make it an option also, pvp or pve.
There are times I have let the team down tying to complete these quest and I know It will happen in 4v4....also wont play pvp because if 4v4.
Edit: Also, Cozmo?
He asked me if I could? lol
Edit: I said nothing about raids being solo friendly, This post is about having the option to do exotic quest solo. Including the raid exotics. The steps you have to do outside the raid to me more specific. If I am still being unclear please let me know instead of trolling.

12 RepliesThanks for posting this. We are always walking the line between making complex, challenging puzzles to solve and creating something that is inaccessible to a portion of the player base. I'll share your thoughts with the team so they can consider them for future designs.
-
Wait let me get this straight, you understand why raids aren't solo friendly but you don't understand why raid exotic quests aren't solo friendly. I'm sorry but your logic is flawed
-
Former solo player here. Seriously, even if you're only on a couple times a week, jump in an active clan. Make some friends. Never touch LFG again. Only way to play this game.
-
3 RepliesI think it's perfectly fine for the raid exclusive exotics. If you can find a team to raid with you should have no problem finding ppl to do the quest with.
-
5 RepliesYes! I only have a Vex Mythoclast, I want ToM and Outbreak, but can't ever seem to get the quests.
-
1 ReplyI hope they make them a lot more challenging in Destiny 2.
-
im all for a difficult quest but the wrath of the machine one is a bit over the top.
-
Hey jump on the find a fire team. Look for noob friendly. You will be amazed how much fun it can be. Not always productive. But definitely entertaining. Im trying to get time to go calcified fragment hunting in oryx and i guess so outbreak prime. But honestly, trythe find a fireteam. Its been fun in there.

4 RepliesRaid exotics are a reward for TEAMWORK, they shouldn't be solo friendly.
-
Bump cuz I agree

3 RepliesEdited by CatMan: 6/7/2017 2:53:19 PMIll bump, Don't take any of the clowns in the comments serious. Most of the kids on b.net, if they aren't interested or don't think about what's being said they skim and get triggered by certain parts. We're just a bunch of salty sons of bitches on b.net Bump for those new players stuck on those quest. The grind is real ☺ Edit: I know the grind is real because I've been playing on my b3 z3r0 pro account and boooooy its so hard trying to get to 385 lol. Got like 2 exotics.
-
6 RepliesPersonally, I think Touch of Malice had the best quest. I would like to see more like it. It was mostly solo-able.
-
100% agree on the outbreak prime quest.
-
Ya take out skill. Just but guns with silver.
-
3 RepliesThey should make an exotic quest for the 1% just to spite the casuals. Make it require random calculus equations, history on key figures, and proper grammar and spelling. I bet 99% would fail that last part alone.
-
3 RepliesNote that even if you've completed the quest, you can help others still. Go to Shiro.
-
There is one. It called the Outbreak Prime or as I like to call it O.P(see what I did there.
-
1 Replyi've got a hunter and titan that hasn't completed the quest yet if anybody needs help. i can help on my warlock as well. on xb1 though
-
1 ReplyYeah Im stuck on it too because I just dont have enough friends to do that and one of them just wont help me because he hasnt got the quest so there just wont be a point.
-
Edited by AXELXu7: 6/7/2017 10:44:29 AMIt sucks that I just so happened to run the raid for monitors with my hunter first...the most prolific class in the game. I'm on Xbox one, and I'm at the final stage, but willing to help if you're at a lower stage, or even start over if we find a third. GT same as username.

If you need a team to get the quest then needing a team to finish it is reasonable
-
The simple fact is you can get the SIVA engines anytime from Shiro after completing the quest. I personally think it was one of the best exotic quests and hope for more rather than RNG drops like Vex and year 1 Necro

All of these things need to be made easier by having more people instead of being locked behind having a full fireteam. Look at the bridge in crota. It could have been something like you kill the enemies to charge your super and then go and drain it on each of the totems to deactivate them. Then maybe that would anger the enemies and they would then come after you en masse while you were forming the bridge. The swordbearer would also come after you in the middle so you would have to deal with it while fighting off enemies, forming the bridge, and making sure you don't kill it too early. This would give smaller groups or even solo players a way to complete encounters without a full fireteam and without having to find some sort of glitch.

1 ReplyHow about raid exotics actually drop from said raid not another stupid quest that you earned from the pve end game content
-
6 RepliesTo be fair if you can get a group together to raid, then you can get a group to do the quest.
-
1 ReplyWith the new Guided Games system and an internal Clan system, you should have no issue finding people to finish any non-solo quest in D2.
