I just got intentionally booted from the fireteam right before killing Oryx. I hope Bungie will please do something about these incidents. Apparently, reporting bad players like them will not do anything. That is quite frustrating.

2 RepliesThis should sum up everything you need to know about Destiny/Bungie. Shaming is not allowed but cheating and being a dick (like booting people intentionally before raid completion so they can bring in a buddy to reap the rewards is OK though). You can't make this shit up. How about the moderators start moderating CHEATERS and going through and looking over those who have been reported instead! jk no salt, won't happen.

12 RepliesHi there, Please note that posting another player's username is against our "naming and shaming" rules in the Code of Conduct. I have edited your post to remove the other player's name. If you believe you've encountered someone cheating or otherwise engaging in harmful behavior in Destiny, please use the in-game reporting tool. Edited by MochaKat: 5/28/2017 4:23:44 AMWelcome to pugs. This isn't exclusive to Destiny and most games where it does happen, it's not consider a ban able offense. Does it suck? Yeah but that's the risk with pugs.
And lol at the people that think reporting does nothing. I guess all those people that complain about bans did nothing wrong.
1 ReplySeriously doubt anything comes from any of us reporting people, but good luck.

1 ReplyIf this became a trend, there's an easy solution to prevent it from ever happening. All Bungie would have to do, is to require that you are in orbit in order to boot a player. For some activities, there may be drawbacks, so they could limit it to raids only.

1 ReplyI got the pitchforks and torc..... Damn, they already redacted you.
-
1 ReplyDamn man, that sucks. You were doing good too.
-
1 Replyyup, this is going to happen more. It sucks and I feel for you

1 ReplyIf you need someone to help you finish Oryx, send me a fr on Ps4 (King's Fall happens to be my favorite raid.)

By design by Bungie

the solution is to create your own team and invite who you wish to play with.. then you can't be booted. Leaving it up to someone else opens the door to the problem.

I was in the fireteam for King's Fall raid. We were at the very last phase. Oryx was moving to the middle after all the bombs were detonated. Right before killing Oryx, I just got intentionally booted from the fireteam and the party. Obviously, that was intentional. The incidents like that are happening more and more in these days. I do hope Bungie will please do something about that. By the way, I should have known better when they started to kind of laugh at me all of sudden and make fun of me with nothing at the end.

1 ReplyThat [REDACTED] guy is a prick, first DDoSing, now this?
-
1 ReplyThat's messed up.

2 RepliesThis is happening more and more and shouldn't. Are you on the PS4? Give me a shout if you want my raid team to help you finish your Oryx CP (or any other challenges you need). We probably have well over a thousand raid completions between us including all challenge modes on the weekly raids.

7 RepliesThere is nothing to be done. I don't think that was intentional because they were all actively engaged when you got booted. Either way, it is up to the Fireteam itself on who and when it wants people in the party. Does it suck? Yes but it's not against the rules to kick people. Also remove the gamer tags in this post or you will get a strike for naming and shaming
