Best LFG group ever!
So me and my friend wanted to get the raid done just now so we threw a lfg group together and started with only 5 people and none of them talked much. We completed challenge and didnt even wipe until the end of siege engine. Both aksis phases took only 1 try and on phase 2 we had 2 fireteam members dead (we had 6 players by this point) but some of us double cannoned or bombed and we 3 cycled him. My friend was also very excited because he got the nanophoenix! I screenshotted the party screen so i could add them all and do it on our other characters later. Just a story i thought I'd share :)

1 ReplyStopped playing a while ago and never did ROTM. Used to use LFG alot for Kings Fall and was mostly good experience. I can only imagine the hate if a retired veteran joined an LFG group for a first time run.

Bored last night so joined a group on lfg to do wotm. Two loud kids in the group but only ONE wipe at siege engine and that was only because it glitches out and wouldn't let us pick up one engine part. That said, I do feel this is an exception. Previous experience normally has at least one arsehole in the group :(

Did the raid the other day. Team leader was an absolute sociopath, but it was the only team I've had in weeks that could do it. Was quite conflicted. Only problem we bumped into was an empowerment screwup that cost us a phase. Wasn't a problem but when someone tried to clarify what happened sociopath kicked off. Told them both to keep quiet for one more phase, succeeded

2 RepliesI've joined a lfg asking for "experienced" players for a "quick" raid group that we knocked out the raid in 90 mins and decided to run again on another character and knocked it out in 80mins because we were in a good groove. Everyone has 15+ WoTM runs and over 100 other raids. I've joined a lfg asking for "experienced" players that must "know what to do" only to find the leader hasn't even completed it. Lol. Needless to say it went poorly.

2 RepliesIt's hit or miss. We did two runs the other night, damn near perfectly, complete randoms. But I still get teams that say shit like "empowered take bombs" and fxck up Vosik challenge. So you never know.

19 RepliesYep.in game matchmaking would make destiny a lot more enjoyable and accessible for its customers. But bungie doesn't get it like Ubisoft's division do. I have been kicked once by a random leader playing the division in hundreds of incursions and missions but bungie seem to think there games is so elite that only we can make teams. Yet lFG JUST MAKES US GO OUTSIDE THE GAME TO MATCHMAKE? Anyway this is old shit from year one so let's not waste our time talking about it. Glad you had a good raid.

I had fun helping some guys beat the normal mode raid for the first time ever the other day. I wanted my outbreak prime quest done and they had 2 guys who never beat it. They did pretty good for guys who never beat the raid before.

Glad it worked out for you. I have personally stopped, since it doesn't work out for me. 75 - 80% fail rate it feels like to me for lfg Haven't actually done it for a month or two though

Ignore the negative Nancy's below in the comments. Playing with randoms can sometimes be hit & miss sure but I've actually met a lot of good folks that are fun to play with and willing to help out the solo player. Keep having fun guardian.
