Update whiners wouldn't last a day in the Bungie Halo games.
This update made this game similar to how Halo was set up. In Halo you hardly ever got a sniper/shotgun/rockets and when those weapons were available there were only one or sometimes two in the map. If you died you lost that weapon.
Same thing with Destiny now except you get to choose what weapon you want to use also special spawns often. I'm guessing most of the kids salty are the kids that rushed with Shotgun the whole game.
Adapt.

I don't like this update so how does that make me a whiner With that logic I can say since I have better stats and played Halo. You are a whiner and would not last the true 100% halo if you like the update.

4 RepliesEdited by zJDz: 2/20/2017 1:18:25 PMHave you played Halo recently? It is slow. You move slow and TTK is slow. Destiny is fast paced and the kill times need to be faced paced too. I think all primaries should kill in .8 seconds (like clever dragon used to) then you will pick weapons based off range and perks and not TTK. Why .8 TTK? Halo is around 1 second TTK. Cod is around .3-.4 sec TTK. For destiny .8 feels just right. Clever dragons kill time allows you to kill someone quickly yet a skilled opponent could still get behind cover in time. Only time you couldn't react is if the enemy caught you on a flank. In that cause you were punished for poor awareness.

But halo is a different game? Destiny has always had special as a big part. Now they took it away. Halo has always been that way so it's expected when you turn it on.

[/quote] Here's the problem with that thought process. Not everyone liked Halo and not everyone wants Destiny to be a Halo clone. If someone wanted to play the old style Halo games it would make more sense to play the Halo MCC. It just seems like so many people adopt this mindset of well Halo does it so Destiny should do it, rather than letting Destiny be a different game than Halo.

Really wanting to play an fps game, but that's the only one I got on the ps4. So much stuff probably changed since I last played. I left because I wasn't too fond of the multiplayer at the current build back then. Im sure quite a bit changed

9 RepliesI totally agree. I'd rather be forced to use my primary 90% of the game if it means I don't have to deal with thumbless apes trying to kill me with a shotgun. I've never had so many 20+ kill games in skirmish as I've had in the past couple of days.

Edited by Erijian: 2/19/2017 10:58:01 PMBut in Destiny we have things like No Land Beyond and Universal Remote which have infinite ammo basically, special weapons that regenerate special ammo like Ice Breaker and Invective, and Sidearms which don't lose any special ammo whatsoever upon death. Their idea failed because of these weapons.
