Over the past few days I think I was killed by ONE shotgun. ONE. That's refreshing. The crucible requires better gun skill now.
-
Actually there is a lot of variety more variety that I've ever seen. Before this patch all u would see was matador party crashers clever dragon and GOM (different weapons same archetype)
-
3 RepliesIt is not that hard. All I have to do is wait 30 secs for special ammo box show up. ....
-
4 Replies40% of sniper usage must be from no flinch beyond kappa
-
Looks like the last 30 weekly reports barring the drop in shottys. Looks like exactly what the community wanted. I am most amazed Bungie made this work.
-
This has what the games come to nlb for sniping. Feels like they want us to suffer .
-
Honestly its a game of "whats the least hot garbage gun to use" anymore. Nothing feels fun or smooth to use, its all just working against you more often than not.
-
I still have havoc pigion.....
-
"Bungie" Working as intended.
-
Imagine if Thorn was still good...
-
2 RepliesTake away special ammo and shotguns decreased by 44 percent. LOL, you asked for it people.

2 RepliesEdited by Erijian: 2/18/2017 4:20:12 AMFreaking knew this would happen. Bungie guts the special ammo economy and Universal Remote, but for some reason keeps No Flinch Beyond the exact same. Then they also decide it's a great idea to let Sidearms keep ALL of their ammo on respawn when they should've only kept what they would have had from their innate "Reserve Ammo" perk. Don't even get me started on letting Handcannons be consistent as all hell but allowing these ones that hit the range cap to stay the same. Only MAX IMPACT Handcannons (TFC, Judith-D, and Ill Will) should be hitting the range cap and have low stability to offset it. Mid impact HCs need to have a mix of stability and range but not be best in class in either, while low impact HCs need to have naturally high stability but low range. Also that auto rifle buff did NOTHING to help improve their time to kill. It's entirely placebo except for Genesis Chain which benefitted from it. That's one freaking auto rifle in the game that got a noticeable improvement. Good job I guess, Bungie? This meta is going to suck just as much as the last one for entirely different reasons. At least it gives me a reason to take a break until Destiny 2; I'll just play Overwatch and Nioh instead.

5 RepliesI predict that next weapons balance patch, the NLB along with Sidearms are going the get nerf because too many players are using it and more than half of the forum post will be complaining about "no diversity" , "keep getting kill from sidearms", "sidearms ammo is unfair" bla bla... Oh and Bungie will find a way to nerf fusion rifles again either directly or indirectly nerf (side effect).
-
13 RepliesI have an idea to fix the abuse of NLB without ruining it. First off let's address the problem that has been magnified after the last patch. The main problem with the NLB is the reload cancel trick or better called glitch. Let's just patch that. Now I know what your thinking and I agree. Without the glitch the NLB is pretty much useless. Well, what I propose is that they add an intrinsic perk to the master that cancels the bolt action (or at least speeds it up immensely) after a precision kill. Meaning that if you get a body shot or a body kill you have to go through the whole slow ass bolt action. This allows it to truly be a high risk high reward weapon without people being able to just body shot someone to death faster than they can counter. It'll be even more important to go for the headshot. I think this would be an effective fix that would still keep the whole "exotic" aspect to the gun. What are your guy's thoughts?

Trials, who cares lol
-
I can balance better the game for free and in less time
-
The only people who are surprised by this are Bungie employees
-
2 RepliesThey just wanted people to use sidearms more. Low key, that's what this patch was all about. Oh, and destroying the Truth for some dumb ass reason. But thanks for the pre-emptive ammo nerf to side-arms, folks. You know it will happen.....right? "Use it and lose it..." (c) the Nerf Police
-
Trials will never have weapon diversity
-
1 ReplyTrials will never have diversity. The top players may do a challenge to look good on their twitch and everyone else will use the best weapons available to give themselves a chance.
-
Edited by The 7th fall: 2/18/2017 8:46:21 AMWell Bungie overhyped this patch for months and look what we get... disappointment, like much of what they put out nowadays. Bungie coulda so easily encouraged primary gunplay through buffing, but nope they force it through baffling nerfing.
-
Edited by Teal'c: 2/18/2017 8:42:56 AMDay 1 Orisis 29% sidearms and 23 % snipers (NLB and Icebreaker) 0.5 % have fusion rilfes, bungie you are crap nerfed and killed fusion rifles and they nerfed truth so no truth in the top 10 of heavy weapons lol
-
5 RepliesEdited by DOOM 02: 2/18/2017 4:28:00 AMHandcannons are everywhere. now i understand why bungie was so hesitant to remove bloom. pulses nerfed+autos barely buffed=handcannon meta. not to mention handcannons were already good so why buff them??
-
Just scrap the advantage of sec ammo with sidearms would take away the favor there
-
I'm not gonna lie im glad seeing people using primary weapons which i use all the time but the special ammo thing was un called for. Bungie always got their plans one step ahead bit then they fall one step back. It does make trials somewhat better but then it promotes camping and the round takes way to long.
