Why do people like that game? I picked it up on sale for less than $20 and I don't even think it's worth that. There's no story, the objectives are meaningless, every match is exactly the same, and the matchmaking is atrocious. It feels like they released a beta at the price of a full game.
Edit: Inb4 the "You only say that because you're a scrub and die every 2 seconds" comments keep rolling in, I did wait until I was good enough to win a few games without dying at all to say this. As I've said in some of the replies, the core gameplay (health, HUD, no radar, hit boxes, etc) is the only thing I actually enjoyed.
Edit2: I see a lot of people saying "opinion" and nothing else on some of my points, like the word opinion makes a point invalid. Is opinion a swear word now? This whole post is opinion. Is it really necessary to point out that things I'm saying are opinions?

22 RepliesI picked it up, beat the tutorial missions, and then quit playing because ubisoft wanted me to create an account to play.
-
4 Replieslol you're just bad
-
1 ReplyThe game is good. The people that play it are terrible. I get teamkilled more in siege than I do in cod on hardcore
-
I have yet to play one Tom Clancy game that I found enjoyable.
-
I played it at a friends house and sucked. 10/10 would purchase during steam sale
like the word opinion makes a point invalid.
an opinion isn't a fact, and most of your points were shit opinions. That's my opinion btw.
Is opinion a swear word now?
what's making you come to this conclusion is what I'd like to know.
This whole post is opinion.
oh shit, really? I would've never known.
Is it really necessary to point out that things I'm saying are opinions?
Nope, but you put your opinion on the Internet where literal hundreds of thousands of people can either disagree or agree with what you said. You said your opinion, and people can agree/disagree with it and explain why they agree/disagree. I know I disagreed and gave quick reasons why. If you got a problem with it then that's fine, as opinions are like assholes, everyone has one, and most people don't care.

It's not for everyone.

3 RepliesMore and more games are multiplayer only. Considering you can get all the characters for free, levels are free and most cosmetics can be earned, its pretty good. They have support set for another year, at least. They said they'd like to reach 50-100 operators, giving us another like year and a half after this one. Considering I enjoy it, and got it for only $15, I love it.

Edited by Kankunation: 2/15/2017 7:54:32 PMI agree it's kind of bad. Pales in comparison to to the last few R6 games. But it's not bad for any of the reasons you listed. it's still worth maybe a $35-$40 price tag I guess.
-
2 RepliesDefinitely worth the $20 especially seeing as it doesn't have a story. I got it for around $30 like 6 months or so ago and I'd say money well spent. So for one you should know better that it doesn't have a story I feel like everybody knows that. If you bought it expecting a story that's your fault. Read up a little before you purchase maybe. Matchmaking is okay, it's not great, but it's better than most/some games. Match being the same is probably because you play the same operator. They're all meant to be played differently. You have characters like Pulse, Valkyrie, and Caviera who you roam the map with. Characters like Jackal counter that or if you have it use claymores. As for objective being meaningless here's some footage of the objective winning me a 1v5.

Obj is useless? That is like saying the bomb in CS GO is useless.

Edited by Jiren: 2/15/2017 12:32:11 PMI got matched into a game once and the whole team voted to kick me before the game even started (probably cause I was level 39).Funny thing is I got matched up against that team after and ended up beating them 3-1.Seriously tho it's called "casual" for a reason. How else is someone supposed to learn how to play the game if they don't get to play.Dont want to get matched up with new players?Heres an idea..GO PLAY RANKED

1 ReplyIt's really overrated
-
3 Replies"No story." ... you play Destiny... Not every game needs a story dude, and not every game is exactly the same. It's the same if you get the same map, same spot, and same character every time. But that doesn't happen does it. It's strategy. And just because you don't die doesn't mean you did good. If you actually help your team then you did good.
-
2 RepliesStory > Gameplay
-
Did you play with a team full of friends?
-
3 RepliesI just found it boring as my matches turn into a game of camping.
-
1 Replybetter turn on that aim assist OP oh wait

I got that game for free, at the same time as a bunch of other games so I can honestly say I didn't give it much of a chance I played it for a bit and didn't really enjoy it much so I uninstalled it (mainly due to having no room left on PS4) perhaps when Sony finally allow external hard drives I may re install it and give it another shot. It seems to be pretty popular.

3 Replies100% positive you like the game but claim you hate it because the hit-reg is super trash and obvious in 99.9% of situations.
-
You cannot say it's shit unless you 1. Actually were looking for a competitive multiplayer fps 2. A actual challenging tactical game. 3. You have actually played rank and were good at it at gold tier.
-
4 RepliesWhats IMO?
-
2 RepliesI just don't like that it's not third-person and there's no cover system. That's what Rainbow Six is.
-
I hate it because I hate those tactical shooters. Thanks CS GO, you really made a prick out of me.

Edited by Psychic Donuts: 2/14/2017 12:24:39 AMThe objectives are there so you have an option for winning other than killing everyone. Every match is not the exact same, that's a horribly generized exaggeration. Matchmaking is bad but that's Ubisoft (not that I'm defending it being bad).
