Did I really wait 140+ days for...
For Bungie to say, "we understand you dont want us to nerf things but to buff them instead.... So we nerfed shotgun range, aim assist, air acuracy, precision damage, ADS speed."
For Bungie to say, "when you die you loose all your spacial ammo just like heavy. Sorry but we were to lazy to press the delete button on special weapons."
For Bungie to say, "oh clever Dragon now shoots almost as fast as hawksaw and holds no ammo, and slow rate of fire pulses are still shit."
For Bungie to say, "we buffed auto rifles by so much they are the same as they were 11 patches ago."
For Bungie to say, "we gave handcannons more accuracy but now they can only be used in shotgun range, and we want you to fire them so slowly that you die of age before you get that kill on the AFK noob."
For Bungie to say, "we noticed how little Blade Dancer was being used so we nerfed the only good thing about them."
For Bungie to say, "we noticed how people didn't like the stormcaller mele so we gave it less range than the titan mele."
For Bungie to say, "we noticed how people wern't using throwing knives so we gave them a perk that does literally nothing for PvP which ia what this whole think is about."
For Bungie to SHOW us how slow the crucible plays now.

1 ReplyI can honestly say I'm pretty content with this update. I hate hand cannons and Pulse rifles. They aren't fun in any way to use in PvP. But if I want a positive K/D I have to use clever dragon! I have to use eyasluna! <~ I'm so happy I don't HAVE to use those weapons to be relevant now. I hate shotguns. I hate using them in PvP. I hate getting killed by a rushing titan with -blam!-ing invective. Its the worst feeling in this game. I don't get pissed when I get sniped, because that's something I could've avoided. I don't get pissed when I'm in a gunfight with someone and they run out of ammo so they switch to secondary and finish me. That's fine. But when I am a distance away from someone, and they run at me, slide, and one shot me. That's when I get salty. <- Thank you for less shotgun spam. However. I dont think the update is flawless. Dropping all secondary when you die, is a step way too -blam!-ing far. I already hardly get to use my sniper, even if I want to switch to a shotty to counter rushing players, if I have to wait for secondary to spawn before I can use it, you might as well have just disabled all secondaries in PvP and made it primary only. <- This change was unwarranted and nobody -blam!-ing asked for it. I hate that they nerfed blade dancer even more. I love blade dancer because of the blink, because of the grenades. WELL GUESS WHAT, ya nerfed both the super AND the nades. That is some absolute bullshit. Ever hear the joke about the titan with red eyes? Well my hunter might as well join him because using blade dancer in PvP is useless now. Thank you bungie. But also, -blam!- you.

10 RepliesThis patch really made it or broke it for some people. And it's looking like it broke it for most people. Lots of "changes" weren't even mentioned as a problem; Sunbreaker melee sometimes not igniting people, grenades having too much tracking, duration, or range, hunter base melee range still being the lowest in the game. Skorri's artifact. Some changes feel like a kick in the face. Lose special ammo on death? This doesn't seem like a problem for shotguns or snipers because there are exotics to regen it, and sidearms keep ammo on respawn. Here's my main problem with it: if my fusion rifle misses a coil because of RNG or lag, chances are I'll die, and I LOSE all my special because I got f'd over by the game. Hungering blade is all that made Bladedancer's super even usable. The super has bad lunge and low mobility. Blink has already been nerfed to almost unusability, now it's useless. Some weapon types are STILL unusable: Mid rate of fire pulses, low impact hand cannons, high impact hand cannons. Bungie didn't listen to all they could have.

You know, everyone can have their own opinion on whatever they want, that's fine. But when everyone in the comments is literally just trashing on Bungie and the game, they should just get off of the forums. They're on the forums becuase they obviously care for the game enough to be on here. When you're going to act like a small child and say nothing positive about the game whose forum you're on, then you're just as bad as Bungie. I'm not saying that I love Bungie and everything they do, because I don't like the special changes myself. I'm just saying that the overwhelming negativity is just sad.

Obviously if they didn't nerf snipers then not everybody would be using shotguns. If you add weight to one side of a scale then obviously the other side will raise up. DUHHH YOU -blam!-ING MORONS. "This is obviously a problem" no it's obviously what will -blam!-ing happen when you nerf things. They're too stubborn to agree with the community when it comes to any subject.

I'm honestly kind of sad... For the first time since Christmas of 2014 I am even remotely considered not playing this game anymore. This is the first game that I actually want to play all of the time, but I'm seriously discouraged by this patch.
