If I were to have one, I honestly don't know what I would get haha

Ignore these people saying not to get a game tattoo. Your body your choice. I would suggest, however, that you get a logo rather than a weapon or something like that. You could, for example, get a tattoo of one of the faction emblems or an emblem that you really like. I would just say that trying to get a tattoo of a weapon may not come out the way that you want it

While Destiny does seem to appear to look as if its gonna be around for a decade or so its a universe that wont be eternal. Therefore 20 years down the line your tattoo will literally be pointless and silly. Not really many gaming tattoos that you could get that would stay relevant maybe a mario or triforce tattoo. Always best to keep it small in case it becomes irrelevant or its poorly done.

As someone who has many tattoos, and a huge fan of destiny. Don't do it. This game will end. I have a ever guest tat that bugs the shit out of me every time I see it.

2 RepliesI remember during year 1 someone got a hawkmoon tattoo somewhere and it came out awful.. the barrel was too short and it almost looked like it was bending downward. Just make sure whoever you get it done by is good at their job

1 ReplySame here dude! I'll be turning 21 that day as well!

Remember tattoos are for life. Think first before getting one because you might end up regretting it later

4 RepliesDon't get a game tattoo, it's a stupid idea.

Edited by TheTommieC: 2/3/2017 1:04:58 AMThe one thing I dislike about video game tattoos is that, there's really no room for expansion. (Pun-intended) I love video games. I've played them forever. But the only expanding tattoo, after the initial ink, is that you get other random video game tattoos. There's no sense of flow. I'm a huge fan of art that flows. Hence my tattoo. I've left room for expansion, not cut content. *drum snare*

1 ReplyA new idea!

1 ReplyIn my honest opinion you really shouldn't. If you're going to get a tattoo it should be something somewhat arbitrary that has no clear meaning. You need to remember that in 40 years it'll still be there. And I highly doubt you'll feel the same about the game as you do now by that time. Also you have to think about what if it sucks in the future? I imagine there's a fair amount of people that are embarrassed about that Halo tattoo they got a while back.

1 ReplyHow about the base Destiny logo with an orange/yellow color theme, Nerf guns coming out of the sides, and darts sticking to the center?
Honestly, getting a tat of a game with mostly questionable marketing methods and sinking rep is a bad idea. Like getting a tat of that new 1 week date girlfriend's name on your hand.
However, I respect logical opinion, so if you are doing it, I would wait until you get news on D2. Then if the class symbols and game logo change dramatically, you are not stuck with something stupid and outdated. Take the Souls franchise for example. I wouldn't get a tat of Frampt (he's only in DkS1), but would get a darksign or bonfire that are persistent and well known through the entire series.

Are you going to have to keep going back every 5 months to get another piece added onto the original tattoo at 15 bucks a pop until the picture is complete?
-
Haha.
