Hey Bungie can you stop giving advantage to people with potato connection
Topic ^, Been playing since year 1 and I've been noticing a trend that when someone has a red bar, they more often than not are in the top of the leaderboards. I'm getting sick of teleporting guardians and today I also saw a red bar guardian seemingly one shot my team, because apparently bad connections make your bullets teleport.

Did you forget your shotgun was out after wielding it for so long?

I wish I could get to the top of the leader board from red barring. It always works in reverse for me. I have never gained an advantage from red barring.

On the occasions when I red bar (not often) it's me that's disadvantaged. My hits not registering at all.

I think it is a fundamental flaw with their p2p netcode design hopefully it will be fixed with destiny 2 cuz they ain't changing it in this one. All we get in this one is number tweaks.

5 RepliesI kinda agree some people can't afford good internet or good internet isn't in there general area and they can't help that not everyone's parents are rich not everyone has 200,000 subs on YouTube and not everyone knows that bungies servers are not dedicated black ops and overwatch have better servers than destiny so it's bungies fault for not having dedicated servers. For example my friend has bad internet he plays black ops 3 and has a green bar,then he switches to destiny and plays pvp and he red bars that's what you call undedicated servers so there is no one to blame but bungie themselves you think with all that money from festival of the cost and the costly dawning event they would use that money to improve there servers. Any one who disagrees or hates on me can put there irrelevant comments below just putting out the truth

All I can say is it is bungie's fault, I have Comcast with LAN line in. I red bar and keep dropping connection. Top of the line router just came out 2 months ago. Bungie if people are paying for silver like my self and many others, get dedicated servers. Destiny is only game I play and I'm sick of getting red bar and dropping connection.

You shouldn't be playing a video game online if your bumming WiFi from your neighbor or Walmart or whatever other snarky term people use. Also if you don't hard wire your system to the router you're a tool because that lowers your connection. Playing online video games with piss poor Internet is the equivalent to going out to a nice dinner at a nice restaurant and not tipping 20%. You are a scumbag and shouldn't ruin other people's experience because your too cheap to get better Internet or buy an ether net cord. Also you shouldn't stiff your servers and bartenders. If you can't afford to spend 200 on dinner and a bare minimum 40 dollar tip stay the -blam!- home and order a pizza

I dont care whos fault it is. At this point i only care about my gaming experience. The lag is bad enough at some times, that all i can do sometimes is log off and try an hour later.

Good connection or bad youll never have a LAG free game in any game. But reporting players because a type of connection is not available to them is the biggest cry baby move I have ever seen. Still it was noticeable that there was a Titan lagging his butt off with Zhalo and a Hunter that seemingly popes outta nowhere to either quick-scope sniper or pick you off with Clever Dragon. I believe that's what you call connection manipulation.. There's a difference between a real red bar and someone who's doing it on purpose to gain an advantage. When you're a real red bar, you tend to get stomped.. when someone is doing it on purpose, they do the stomping.
