I know how crazy it was in year one, so obviously not that big of one, but idk I feel like it's very inconsistent and the cool down on it is kinda stupid IMO, thoughts?

8 RepliesNo, it's an evade, it's not meant to be useable to push people, except it still does. It honestly needs a 2 frame delay before you can shoot.
-
Recovery nerf was unnecessary
-
Yep the penalty to recovery is pants.
-
I want Y1 blink for pve only
-
I think it shouldn't affect agility and have make you blink higher. Sometimes it's hard to use just because you can't go high enough
-
I didn't play crucible much in year 1. I missed blink in its hey day (I loved gliding about I never bothered with it). So I am not bothered by the penalty to recovery and the delay to readying weapons. I AM annoyed by the cooldown and the pathetic travel distance. It is a real bummer to have your momentum shutdown by the cooldown timer. And in terms of exploring areas, it is an active hindrance

Blink needs a spam preventing cooldown on par with shoulder charge. Same with shade step. These abilities are abused.

3 RepliesBuff amplitude. Probably the least used skill on the skill tree of stormcaller
-
I just hate that it submarines recovery. That makes zero sense.
-
Edited by Hitmans_Creed: 1/30/2017 2:56:35 PMI think it shouldnt reduce your recovery. Idk why they did that
-
I don't ever want to see the blink shotgunners again, but I love blink and would love to see a buff

1 ReplyEdited by Haunter: 1/30/2017 12:27:18 AMYep, it's trash now, shouldn't die in middle of it nor should it take forever to get weapons back
-
The recovery nerf was really stupid. It doesn't have to go back to its original status but seriously get rid of the recovery penalty.
-
Hated the increased cooldown being added, not cos I was a blink shotgunner (although I loved bamfing around like nightcrawler) but it threw timings off on map navigation, it's -blam!-ing annoying having to wait for a tiny jump.
-
1 ReplyNo its still amazing at its current state. I hate playing against blink same as lag

2 RepliesEdited by ClovenTrack620: 1/29/2017 1:21:31 PMlol i dont really see how it was crazy in year 1 compared to now, except for the triple blink glitch, but then again that was just a glitch, bungie knew they couldnt nerf a jump ability so they went ahead and increased the cooldown by some ridiculous amount of miliseconds just to make the crybabies stop whining for a little while , trust me i've been blinking for quite a while now and it honestly feels the same. but im down for a buff , maybe faster cooldown , triple blink:) , umm more distance? but that can be weird , ohh wait!!!! how about not taking any damn damage while teleporting, beacause u know ,you're !?!?!?!?TELEPORTING!?!?!?

3 RepliesIt's fine. The only the thing that needs to happen is it to be defined as a second jump or an evasion maneuver such as shade step. Because sticky grenades and rockets lose tracking when a player blinks.
-
The only thing I don't think it should be able to do is immediately grenade toss after a blink. This kinda made it cheap. (Even though that exact move was in the fxcking live trailer for Destiny.) But it wasn't exactly easy to blink up above someone and line up a shot. Not like people thought. You had to really know your blink distance because a lot of times not even you would know where you'd wind up.
-
For the average or casual player it needs a buff to be usable again, but if you watch good players who practice with it playing trials they'll dominate with it with a shotgun.
-
1 ReplyI think it should have 3 jumps and then a cool down honestly.

Edited by Ken Rocker: 1/30/2017 2:10:49 PMThe whole bladedancer subclass need a buff. Missed arcblade swipes when I swing at someone point blank 3x! Can't swipe in the air after blinking AT ALL! Blinkstrike doesn't connect half the time. Killed bc of taking damage at former location while mid-blink: I'm not even there anymore, but still take damage from my shadow taking damage?! Forced to use hungering blade and QuickDraw, in cookie cutter standard bd configuration. Blink removes invis for some reason.

7 RepliesEdited by Shockwave 0313: 1/30/2017 8:39:36 AMIt should be returned to year 1 standards and removed from hunters. It should also have better directional control. That way all 3 classes will have a type of evade all to themselves that is unique. In my opinion anyway.
