99.9% of players ignore modifiers in heroic strikes!
Why? Incompetent fools dying nonstop n taking 45 mins n wondering why they're being 1 shotted by psions.
I tell people via message n I get replies like 'whats arc burn' or 'but yeah my choleric dragon void holds 3 rockets'
Almost as bad as people who try to hit omnigul with a void edge sword

Often being forced into specific loadouts and playstyles removes the fun for people so they don't bother. If you want like minded people to play with get a fireteam together otherwise you are at the whim of matchmaking.

No, they don't People have all kinds of reasons for not running the load out that you think they should run, but that does not mean that they aren't aware of or adjusting for the modifiers. Also, maybe something like 33% ignore them but 99%?!?! No

Almost every time I run something with arc burn all three of us usually have the Zhalo out. Either way you can get through a strike with pretty much whatever load out you feel like running. Personally though, I always use the modifiers to my benefit. I seriously doubt "99.9%" of people don't pay attention to them.

This is where I can't stand it when other players feel like they have the right to tell other people how to play the game. I paid for this game and been playing this game beta and day 1. I can hold my own and even now I could care less about what modifiers are on heroic strikes and I definitely don't need other players to tell me what my loadout should be. The only time I care about the mods is for NF, and that's it.

lol it's a strike.... calm down! You should be able to solo it without a burn any away.... if they're bad just return to orbit and LFG a fireteam of 3 to run how you want them to run. Spend less time worrying what others use and more time worrying about yourself. And if you're still feeling righteous, Log off and go do some charity work at a Shelter... It's just a video game.

I get so sick and tired of that too. Only I don't think they ignore the modifies I think they purposely use the wrong weapons and sub class. They look and see arc burn, and say to themselves "looks like a good week for solar sub class and void weapons". I mean people all CAN'T be that stupid........ Can they?

But we are also experiencing a HUGE vault space problem though...and not every one has every weapon class in every elemental damage "flavor". I had to play last night's Nightfall with a Solar LMG, because My Titan simply didn't have one with void damage. Or you might be dealing with people who don't have a weapon in that burn of the right light level. This is one of MANY reasons why I don't like elemental burns as a way of artificially increasing difficulty. At the end of the day, all I care about (when playing with randoms) is that you don't die, and you keep up with your share of the kills. Beyond that I don' t care what you use to get the job done. Only that you get it done.

After the amount of times it's been arc burn who cars if everyone isn't using zhalo . Personally that gun annoys me. Then on that I'll run my tether which drops you and the rest of the team orbs for days. Distant star will hold the primary slot and the queensbreaker will hold the secondary. You know how many times idiots have commented that I should use my zhalo , end of round guess who's got more kills more medals ? If I'm feeling risky I'll run my icebreaker . Moral of the story who -blam!-ing cares what you use if your getting the job done.

You're incompetent. Some people try doing other bounties while doing strikes. So, you may need use all Arc weapons for a Arc burn modifier.
