Did someone just report me for using Dunemarchers?
So I was testing out Boolean Gemini and Dunemarchers earlier today in Freelance and someone on my team started to send me messages about halfway through the game.
"Stop cheating with the Cronusmax"
"I am recording this and reporting you 50 times for cheating bad connection"
I see all of message 1 and up to "cheating" on message 2, so I quickly check to see if I went orange/red bar and once I noticed I was still green as usual I carried on. I did a quick google of what Cronusmax is, but there are a few places that all say it's a different thing. Some say it's a device that lets you use other controllers on other consoles and other places say it's a modded controller. Either way I don't know what the -blam!- it is and I definitely don't have it.
Then I remembered that I was using Dunemarchers for the first time and I started to think that maybe the player thought my speed was due to a modded controller... The player ignored my replies (no surprise) and now I can't stop thinking how dumb it would be if that's what it was.
The funniest thing to me was how the player was complaining about Cronusmax, but then says reporting me for bad connection as well as cheating...
I didn't know where to put this so please move it if necessary.

I report people for cheating when they use bullets. Everyone knows that's easy mode, not how Bungie intended the game to be played and an exploit. They even added swords to remind people this is a melee only game and people still don't get it. For shame. On topic: People are stupid. Try not to let it bother you too much.

Now that I'm reminded of it,I think I'll msg him to rub it in that I'm still playing and that he was just mad bc he couldn't beat me. Is that petty and juvenile?

8 RepliesI personally consider a CronusMax to be cheating. The ability to use a keyboard and mouse on a console is cheating. Obviously you weren't using it, so idc, however I still consider it cheating.

I played against this one guy who raged after I stole first place from him in Rumble. "I've reported you for cheating because of your mods, it seems that you won't die." I started making the comeback when Heavy ammo appeared, since I had Quillim's Terminus, I went into kill everything mode and before I knew it, I had gained the lead.

6 RepliesI use a Cronusmax only so I can play with an XBElite controller on my PS4. Now about the cheating using the Cronusmax. Let me tell you how broken it is if in the wrong hands. I downloaded a script built specifically for The Last Word. An anti-recoil script. The thing is absurd. Zero recoil when firing by the hip or down sights. Is this cheating? Hell yes it is. Would I use it in the game, in crucible? Hell no. But I can tell you that there are tens of dozens of variations of TLW anti-recoil scripts and thousands of downloads. Too bad it's impossible to tell if someone is using it in game. Any way, sorry to bring the bad news. Just thought I'd make you guys aware that don't know. Take care

2 RepliesI've been reported in trials for apparently using a "super glitch". I got my super in the second round because i farmed them in the middle of the map on burning shrine. Keep in mind i was a self-rez warlock i won the second round becuase i self-rezd when my teammate and the other person traded. After that round they won the other one round. So it was all fine until the hunter tbaged me so i switched to storm cheese and farmed them again i went 15-6. I only got to pop my super 2 Times in the six rounds that we played. I got 3 messages after the game claiming that i was a cheater for getting my super twice. They soon invited me to a party and proceeded to call me a cheater. So i told them what any player should say "Back to the reef you go" Also they told me to play them in skirmish with there so called "stacked team" they have. Well never happened becuase they were all talk.

It was a pvp match, but I don't lag. I don't cheat. I'm frankly not even very good, but apparently must have kicked his whiny little ass once or twice (note that I DONT use shotguns, and even use auto rifles in the crucible 30-40% of the time), so this guy/gal must be terrible. I replied with a simple question.. "why?" I asked a second time. And finally I just said "okay then! Good talk!" Some people are just miserable pussies.

I really need to find a way to hardwire my router (which is downstairs) to my PS4 (which is upstairs), and that's a long distance to cover. I'd either have to: A) drill a hole into the floor for the wire to run up the wall of my basement and into the basement ceiling to my PS4, Or B) run the wire all the way up my stairs, across the kitchen and dining room, and into my living room. Yeah, can't do that. Don't really have any room to put the router upstairs either. Anyyyways, the funny part is that the guy threatened to call the authorities and get me in jail because hacking is illegal. Only, as implied above, I don't hack. And, of course I don't think anyone has been arrested anyways for hacking a videogame. I simply told him he was just mad that he lost, and told him to go back to his mother's basement. Didn't get anything after that.

I couldn't even tell or care if someone were moving faster in Crucible. To me everyone has the reflexes of a f-cking kangaroo rat so it doesn't matter. Damn kids and their youth.
