It's like playing a fossil as a musical instrument.
#HALO34LIFE
PS: I honestly think an anniversary version of it would be a disaster for 2 reasons.
1. It would have a tiny little outsourced M$ budget.
2. If 343 Halo is to survive and stay populated, a true H3A would wipe that population out like an ocean on a spark.

8 RepliesMeh Halo2 seems to be destined to be my Favourite but 3 was a damn good game. Though it did have a few BS things in it that overall sullied it compared to Halo2. 1) Bubbling Brutes, seriously take one shot in their General direction and that's it the buggers bubble. 2) Cortana, while I don't mind the mission the amount of others complaining about it just shows it was one of the least like missions across all the Halo games. 3) fire hurts you, ok this ones a nitpick but despite being immune to fire in H2 all of a sudden it's enough to hurt/kill you?. It just annoys me. Overall a Remaster wouldn't harm the game none I mean it didn't impact Halo2 negatively at all and I actually prefer H2A to H2O.

Crash bandicoot 3 was so damn good, I played it again

I agree that there shouldn't be a Halo 3 remaster, but for different reasons. 1. It would further push the video game market into the already out of control sea of remakes and remasters. Seriously, we are now living in a time where we get remasters of titles only five years old. People really feel like spending $25 to $60 on a remake of something they already own rather than create backwards compatibility for said title. 2. "B- but, muh Haylo CE & Haylo 2 got pwetty gwaffix, why not Haylo 3" Halo 3 did in fact launch in HD, whereas Halos CE & 2 did not. Then you have the issue of both games no longer being playable online on console (as in, you are signed out of XBL and forced to use a local profile). This regards Halo 2 specifically as it's addictive yet at times broken multiplayer is what kickstarted Xbox Live's popularity boom. How else could someone play One Flag CTF on Terminal or Assault on Beaver Creek when the servers are literally dead. Without a port to working servers, players are left with the only option of switching to PC for that particular experience. 3. Which brings us to this. You can: boot up an Xbox 360, sign into XBL, insert your Halo 3 disc, and hop into a game of FFA Slayer on beloved Snowbound (stupid -blam!-ing Snowbound) and play to your hearts contempt. Until the Xbox 360 servers are shut down for good, I can't see a reasonable justification for a Halo 3 remaster.

I like all Halo games.
It's like playing a fossil as a musical instrument.
That sounds horrible

I didn't like 3's multiplayer that much.
-
Halo 3 had the best Custom games of all time
-
I liked it back in the day, but playing it's MP now feels so sloooooooooooow compared to new games. The campaign is still good though.

3 RepliesI love the green armor that Halo wears it looks so cool
-
Halo 3 will always remain one of my all time favorites.

The anti-air wraith glitch is awesome

My favorite Halo campaign was 3, with Halo 2 campaign being my least favorite. I'm actually in the middle of the Master Chief saga playlist now!
-
It would also probably have some form of microtransactions.

Unpopular opinion incoming:
Didn't really enjoy Halo: 3. Probably because I just finally got it a couple years ago. I didn't play much Halo when it was in it's prime so I didn't like 3 very much. I played the campaign and that was it.
Halo 3 was the first ever Halo game that I'd played from start to finish ( my previous experience with the franchise was a second hand copy of Combat Evolved that I bought when first got my 360 ) so Halo 3 does have a special place in my heart. I haven't played in a long time but I remember having fun playing it, at least until I got to the "Cortana" level with all the Flood, I hated that part a lot.

I feel you 100% replaying all with my little br9ther on legendary damn soo -blam!-ing good

Edited by Jdniscool: 1/16/2017 4:41:04 PMTbh, I just don't think Halo 3, 2, or the first game are good. I'm sorry but they just don't appeal to me. Reach is the only Halo that I personally enjoy.
-
The multiplayer was largely excellent (my nostalgia goggles make it my favourite game ever), but the Campaign was a bit underwhelming, IMO.

I can never get enough of the MP. I play it online whenever I get the chance. It's a pity there isn't a Halo 1/2/3 scene in my state/anywhere accessible. I love that shiz but can't quite get used to Halo 5's arena.

2 RepliesHopefully 343 goes back to Halo's root action-adventure style campaign for Halo 6.

In #HALO34LIFE I saw Half Life 3. Illuminati confirmed!!!!
