Did you look at the video??? If you think storm callers (or any warlock) are the slowest in the game, then you must be doing something wrong?
As for it being uncounterable, so is nightstalker, in the hands of a good player.
In the hands of a good player who uses storm caller, in close quarters, that is also uncounterable, according to your definition.
ANY skilled player using ANY subclass will be able to do well.
And you should probably change your definition of OP.
I am astounded that you think that the only subclasses that have ever been OP were titan builds, despite them not being a competitive choice for the entirety of year 1, they only made a resurgence in year 1 with sun breaker, and after the december patch:
Blade dancer with blink shotgun in year 1? Sun singer with viking funeral all the way to the June Update? Nightstalker until the June Update? You don't think any of those are OP? I would be happy to explain why and go further into the definition of OP.
In terms of being obnoxious to play against, there are a great deal of things that are that way, but something doesn't get nerfed just because it kills you or you don't like it.
I should point out, in the end, that I absolutely agree that primaries should absolutely be buffed. However, I don't think that titans are the issue.

It think they are slowest because they are. I have been playing this game since Day One. I'm in the Top 6% in terms of Hours Played in The Crucible...and I've played every class and subclass...as well as having played against every class and subclass. I have played in and against every meta. The issue that people have with Thunderstrike is simply one of stubbornness....and a failure to either understand or accept that this game is NEVER going to be balanced like Halo...and it was never intended to be. Depending on what builds people run, there are going to be certain situations where that player has the advantage....and if you blindly walk into that fight you're going to get your clock cleaned. Its no different than playing American football and trying to run against a team that has a very strong run defense.....or playing baseball and trying to hit the fastball of a guy who throws it 100mph. If you stubbornly try to overcome that player's strength they will win almost every time. That is NOT the same as "overpowered". Because what almost always happens is that your own character or build has its own strengths....and your opponents have their weaknesses that you use to counter. So rather than battering through someone else's strength...you want to use strategy so that you can use your strength against what they are weak at. Or in football parlance you want the "match-up" to work in your favor. The range of Thunderstrike is essential to the balance of Stormcallers. In addition to the low armor and low agility that afflict all Warlocks in this game, Stormcallers also have no augmented mobility or augmented durability skills that can increase their survivability. Especially in PVP. They also have some of the worst grenades in the game. They move slowly....and they move predictably. They are---in essence----a glass cannon built around a very powerful super and a powerful (in terms of range) charged melee attack Which leave SIGNIFICANT gaps in their defenses that can be exploited by SMART play. Especially by the mid-range player. But if you want to fight one up close, THEY are going to have the advantage if you're foolish enough to attack them head on. If you are going in, you want the element of surprise...and you want to be attacking from the side or from the rear...so they can't make use of that melee attack. If you arent'....you're the victim of your own poor tactics. Not an overpowered ability.

They might move predictably (so do titans), but maybe you are not able to understand by what I am saying in terms of slow. Predictable is not the same thing as slow. In terms of walking speed, titan and warlock are the same, and the same thing with running speed. In terms of speed while in air, titan is fastest, warlock second, hunter third. Can you please watch the video and then tell me if you think that that guy moves slower than a hunter does? I agree that this game will never be balanced like halo. And I also agree that EVERY subclass has a spot where they have an advantage, and a spot where they don't, which can be exploited by smart play.

Speed of movement in the air is not the Hunters game....and if you're trying to beat someone that way....again, bad strategy. Hunters are the fastest, most agile class on the ****ground***, and the most ELUSIVE in the air. Because their jump allows for ***precision*** that the other two classes are simply not capable of. Between Blink for Bladedancers, Shadestep for Nightstalkers and Better Control/Bones of Eao for Gunslingers airborne Hunter can become ***extremely*** difficult targets to hit. There's a YouTube video of a guy using both Shadestep and Bones of Eao to literally work OFF the edge of the map on Floating Gardens to both bait people in, and shield himself from fire. Its the sickest thing I've seen in three years of playing this game.
-
But you just said, "fastest class", which I assume is to be interpreted as, max speed, not max agility. Agility, hunter wins, speed, titan wins, warlock second.

If you're in close and just missed a shotgun blast aimed at a Hunter who went whizzing by at a crazy angle and faster than you can turn? Or having to try to keep track of which jump or blink that Hunter is on as you try to pluck him out of the air with your primary? You're really not going to care about that distinction.
