Is it dumb that a Titan jug shield can take a golden gun shot?

1 ReplyNo. They should be tanky. A titan can't even survive a FU*KING golden gun shot in the super! And for anyone that says "Thats OP" thats why you have 4 shots :)

Ward of dawn i can see as its a super , but juggernaut shield is below a super in my opinion with no recharge other than running again ,and should be beat by a super. Although i do believe that a juggernaut shield should allow the user to survive with a thread of life left Instead of completely unscathed as it stands now. I main Titan by the way. But play all 3.

My opinion? No Im a defender main from the beta days The reason why it can't pen the jugg shield was from a very early change in the game because of how rediculous keyhole was. It originally was nerfed because a golden gun shot would easily cut a nice little hole in a Ward of Dawn and kill the Titan inside every single time. When they nerfed this it also happened to effect Jugg because like the Ward of Dawn, it isnt part of the titan at all. Jugg shields have about 100ish (i think) hit points so no matter what you hit it with, shotgun, fusion rifle, grenade, that magical thing every gunslinger forgets about called throwing knives, or a golden gun shot, it will easily break the shield but it WILL NOT HIT THE TITAN because the shield is in front of them, not on them. Instead of complaining try countering with a throwing knife and then shooting because literally no gunslinger i ever see uses them.

9 RepliesJuggernaut could have 500 hit points or 15 hit points, it would still be able to tank a Golden-Gun shot simply because it is a separate entity from the Titan. I don't know if Combustion does anything to it but I'm pretty sure the perk "Key-Hole", which allows for super-penetrative rounds, can go through the shield and hit the Titan. Maybe I'm wrong though, who knows...

1 ReplyI learned it yesterday on my Titan. Actually made it so I could challenge a golden gun. Pretty awesome if you ask me. If you're on a hunter and see this, just jump and shoot.

Strikers should always be the Gunslinger's worst enemy. Except now Deadeye guarantees you can cancel FoH. So now Juggernaut looks even more guilty of being OP when it isn't.😭

The legs are still open as well as the sides, back, and top. So aim low, jump and shoot or maneuver around and hit an opening.

Personally I think they should change jugg shield to be something similar to reinhardts shield or the hardlight shield from halo 4. The player using it can't sprint and has recued mobility, but serves as a defensive/offensive well... riotshield. Allows for good pushes or retreats, and when used tactically/smartly an amazing tool. Goldie with keyhole will overpenetrate through, and nova will just annhilate.

Shoot the feet. Stupid but it will kill the Titan and not waste a shot. I am not disagreeing that it should destroy the shield and kill the Titan but it's a solution till Bungie does nothing.
