Um, a question to some
Is it really difficult to use the proper element in strikes?
Why use all void or solar during arc burn, you only put yourself at a disadvantage. Not to mention Xur is selling the Supercell, yet people still don't use arc. Like come on, you can't be this hard headed...
But I know some might not have arc, that's fine, but almost 100% unlikely. And the funnier thing is, I see some using the crappiest weapons, no upgrades, terrible perks, etc.

I find the elemental burns damage more of a hinderance than a benefit to me (eff you omnigal and your bitch friends!). Gjallerhorn does great damage to adds whatever the burn. The correct element on a sniper is fine, but with scoring now I prefer to use fusion rifles on strikes to get the special spree medals. Frankly void saladins Vigil will melt anything even on arc burn. So yeah, it might be a small benefit, but it's usually more detrimental than anything else.

Unless you paid for everyone's game, I'm not really sure why you give a -blam!-. I'm really tired of people complaining about how others play the game. If someone wants to run around with [i]The Impossible Machines[/i] on a self rez warlock, fine. They're probably a casual with 2 kids, they only play a few hours a week. If they don't want to run arc burn, I couldn't really care. I'm here to enjoy the game. Not Bible bang my way of gaming down their throats.

14 RepliesFire Team Wanted Must be 400 light. KD must be 2.0 or above. All gear must be fully upgraded. Armor perks must match weapons and super. Armor must match. Armor must be Tier 13. Shader colors must not clash with emblem colors. Sparrow horn must match rest of fire team. Heavy ammo synth amount must be even number. Emotes must not be humorous or sarcastic (no Dab allowed). Asshole must be shaved and puckered tight.

Because the zhalo supercell is possibly the most boring weapon in the game, and I prefer to have fun than use guns with the matching elements. I hate zhalo, I only used it once or twice. The gun is so boring.

2 RepliesI honestly don't pay any attention to what weapons, subclasses, supers the randoms are using. Regular strikes are not that hard, and I'll often use an element because of a bounty I'm carrying- it'll still do the job. That said, I do recognize that if you are playing the element you can melt the boss ridiculously fast. We killed Valus T'Auric just a few steps from his spawn point yesterday (I was using an arc sniper, and I could hear rockets, presumably arc)- me and two randoms.

I use Defender Titan in some scenarios. For example the Warsat part of the SABER strike can be a pain with the drop ships. I'll switch to Solar/Arc after that though.

I was using outbreak prime and a void quantiplasm and steel oracle. I like those guns. I don't like my arc supercell ex machina and silvered dread. Sorry fam, for me I just use whatever are the guns I like. If I'm at a disadvantage it just makes things more challenging.

I judge people as well. I only give them the benefit if they are using tether or bubble because the DPS and safety bonuses and Voidwalker with nothing manticles if there is catapult. Certain builds are great in all strikes but most should stick with the burns for their subclass. Weapons should always be the correct burn, or atleast be Sleeper Simulant.

9 RepliesThis is like people telling me not to run Bladedancer in PvE because it's "bad". Well I have over 2 years of experience with the subclass, and I know how to play it well. I also know I die the least when using it, and as everyone knows, dying is the number one cause of wipes. I understand that tether is vital but if we already have 1+ Nightstalkers (looking at you raid groups with 3 nightstalkers) why do we need more? I get that there are optimal loadouts, but I just play for fun but still try and be as beneficial as possible.
