You can lose a game to someone with less kills than you, that's not right. We can extend this to Crucible as a whole. (Beside objectives).
Edit: a lot of you condescending -blam!-wits have no credibility, it's funny to read how you think heavy, super, and ability kills supposedly take more skill than gun skill.
Edit: I have more than *550 wins in Rumble, so don't shitpost about how I'm supposedly bad and should just play Inferno. Having no radar is like playing a different game. You're not contributing anything worthwhile here.
Edit: Headshots are fine to some extent.

I agree with you 50%. See validity in the most kill but need to balance with deaths. I HATE losing to people who have more deaths than me (in general worse KD). I think we should lose points for deaths. Last rumble match - I probably won because I used MIDA and everyone else used LAST WORD on Shores of Time (bonus points for "Uprising" and "The Cycle"). It was a close match but those bonus points is what propelled me the win. (1st place LOSER): 23 Kills / 17 Deaths (1.35 KD) WINNER: 20 Kills / 12 Deaths (1.67 KD)

6 RepliesI completely agree. Rumble is about getting the most kills first, not kill the leader to catch up. At the same time i guess someone can go in, hunt for the worst player, and profit, but i doubt it would come to that.
-
I lost a rumble match with 4 kills more than than the supposed guy in first that's not right
-
17 RepliesYou get rewarded for making more challenging kills. Killing others is the goal. But the one that does this with the highest skill level will win because he demonstrated a higher skill level.
-
What they do is make Super and Heavy Kills less than 100 because theyre not that hard to get.
-
I haven't played Rumble much, (probably should try that out more to increase my 1v1s but my luck in engagements is terrible). But I've lost matches with people like Stormcallers who will get more super points and melee points with just their skills. I would be down for the 100 point per kill and the regular headshot for 110 points. But maybe for grenades/super/melee we could keep it in line with 110.
-
5 RepliesI'm not trying to hate, but if you treat a game with super powers and quality lag like Destiny pvp as the next COD, then you are going to have a bad time. Destiny is more like Overwatch than COD. Gunskill is good to have, but if I can just pop a super to go on a kill streak no matter how many points you gove, it wasn't based on skill.

3 RepliesYou're not contributing to an anything worthwhile by making 6 different posts talking about the same thing.

1 ReplyI think that they should reward headshot but not grenedes, supers, melees etc. Because those are less skilled. Skill should be rewarded in rumble and not just having a high intellect, discipline and strength
-
2 RepliesOr git gud
-
2 RepliesAre you saying it shouldn't reward headshots? I can understand no score modifiers but it helps the kinderguardians understand how to shoot and how to play with what is obvious to players who have been playing for awhile

it's funny to read how you think heavy kills supposedly take more skill than gun skill.
But aren't machine guns a type of gun?
-
18 RepliesBro. It's just how this game works. I've been beaten and won by having less kills and I'm fine with it. Headshots do take more skill (most of the time). I like the way they have it now. Feels different from other games
-
Yes. Supers should be a way of getting a guaranteed kill. Not getting more points. Clash, control etc. no way.
-
1 ReplyPlay inferno little baby whaaaaaaaa! This game is casual as they come so deal with it
-
3 RepliesIf you ever wonder why people say "Destiny is not competitive," there is one of many reasons why.
-
1 ReplyThis is far too logical for these forums, my friend. Some of these responses your getting are just sad, and is why no real feedback ever comes from the B net forums- instead Bungie looks to twitter and streamers. Half of these people probably didn't even realize there was scoring bonuses in rumble until they read this post. The scoring bonuses are why FFA has never been incorporated to any tournaments in this game. If anything you should get LESS points with heavy and super kills. The bonus for killing the top player is in several game modes needs to be eliminated too.

6 RepliesDestiny isn't a competitive game. Play Inferno if it's such a big deal for you.

57 RepliesEdited by Optimus96: 12/9/2016 9:02:02 PMDestiny is meant to be a casual shooter - a place where any gamer can feel great about themself. Rumble, control, clash, ect. are not supposed to be taken super serious either, because they are not end-game activities. Regular Cruible is just there as a side thing from your regular grind. I don't know why people take PvP super serious. The way the gameplay is and it's mechanics are not balanced for a competitive shooter environment, nor will it ever be. Edit: Anyone who agrees with OP has no idea what they are talking about. Destiny is and will forever will be a casual shooter - meaning, a .5 k/d CoD player can jump in and sustain a 1.0+ k/d in this game. It is not meant to be taking serious. Just look at the aim assist and hitboxes. AA is higher then anything other shooter. Hitboxes are different from weapon to weapon. I remember watching a video where the Hopscotch getting headshots from the chest - the goddam chest. Edit2: Okay cool, good job, you got first place. What do you get? A rare weapon. What does last place get? A legendary. You will get the same chance for the same items if you placed first or last (another example of Destiny being casual). The only thing you have is bragging rights on the other players in that lobby.

I've been able to win a few Rumble matches with less kills than the person in third place, lol. That shouldn't be right.
-
I agree. There's been times where I've managed to win games with 2-3 less kills than the person in 2nd place and vice versa. It shouldn't be a thing.
-
I think the bonuses for headshots and crossfires are ok, but not much else
-
Hes right though the whole point of rumble is kill everyone. That makes most times killing everyone winning make sense. Its fair because some supers can kill a lot like storm or sunbreak. If someone gets 25 kills compared to 1st places 20 but still loses thats stupid and makes absolutely no sense.
-
2 RepliesEdited by Hunter-Max99: 12/10/2016 6:08:42 PMYep, kinda agree with you. I think extra points for Headshots and killstreaks are fine. But why should Super and heavy reward extra points? They require almost no skill.
-
17 RepliesExtra performance should always count for extra points. Common sense. I'm Diamond I in ELO with Rumble.
-
The other day I saw someone lose to see guy with I think 23 kills less deaths and the winner had I think had 18 and far more deaths it's really dumb
