Nobody knows how to play rift. Everyone treats it like clash and ignores the rift. I have played about 10 games in a row and they have all been blowouts. It's not fun. Thanks for ruining iron banner.

As soon as the other team scores, I can't really be bothered at all, tbh.

Iron banner was always ruined. For me it's the worst experience ever. Laggy games and going on 10 game losing streaks constantly is not fun.
-
Good job winning is now utterly irrelevant haha Nothing to make people play objectives, not even bounties, rank up or rewards, it's participation that matters now, lowest common denominator....
-
2 Replies"When the fun stops time to stop." This is from a gambling ad so fits in perfectly with destiny. The games just not fun anymore any of it, the only "fun part" is when RNG blesses you. The raids not fun anymore, crucibles not fun, nightfalls aren't fun ect.. time to move on not even sure if I'm going to bother with the dawning.
-
Actually it's fun and really easy. Or I'm just a god at Rift. Finished a game earlier with 11780 points and 2 Rift Ignitions.
-
Matador 64 is shit.

Edited by Burnt-Lead: 12/7/2016 9:38:07 PMI was chucked into a 2vs1 game of rift today, that was fun......not. Matchmaking at it's best!

4 RepliesWay to be toxic as fuq, in all of your recent games you're actually winning a majority of your games. There's nothing close to a blowout there. Grow up and learn to lose without whining kid.
-
Nah bruh I love rift 👌🏼
-
6 RepliesYou don't even need to win to get the bounties done. . .stop complaining.
-
I went in with a 3 man fireteam and dominated games. Rank 4 almost in 3 hours, can't complain.
-
Everybody complaining about rift is just too lazy to find a team off lfg. Six man teams have always dominated iron banner, no matter the gamemode
-
As a solo player, rift is absolutely terrible. I'm constantly being put on teams of other solo randoms up against 5 or 6 person fireteams. Unless you get lucky and get good teammates and go up against a really bad fireteam, you're going to lose and lose bad the vast majority of the time. Bungie simply needs to fix matchmaking so large fireteams will usually go up against other fireteams.
-
Every match you're negative, let's start by looking in the mirror.

1 ReplyIt's actually fun with a team, but it really can suck when running solo... but what other team based objective mode is any different... playing control with randoms can be every bit as frustrating... the message here is to play team games with a team
-
There is a player who made a post about how to approach rift as a solo player. For me he shed some light and gave me a new perspective on rift. I hated rift but with this new approach i have had fun and helped teams win. I will try and find it for you.
-
grrrund not agree, but ok :)
-
5 RepliesLook Dor_Matt I understand but your rant reasoning makes no sense in my opinion. The teams I was with understood the game mode so your complaint has no water.

3 types of players in this banner. KD whores who just sit back and snipe and won't go near the spark incase they die. Spark runners who grab it and head directly for the rift, normally with 2 or 3 team mates following and trying to get in front to clear the way but the runner won't stop. Finally the rarest of them all. The guy who grabs the spark and backs off a bit then works with his team to clear the way and ignite the rift.
-
I played a bunch last night, people still run the spark...making mountain out of molehill
-
I'm enjoying it because it allows me to play differently than I normally do. Defender with nbp, uni remote, and saladins vigil. Has been a good time.

Edited by Guerrillar Tape: 12/7/2016 7:36:37 PMWorst....mode...ever.. Enter game Run spark (despite bad team) Kill enemies Lead all game Last 30 secs other team takes lead Take the big fat L Hope for good drops Complete bounties Rinse repeat Drop after 3 games to regain sanity

Went in with 3 of us and it was fine most of the time. Few matches with stupid blueberries but not many. Then started getting messages from solo players doing well on the opposite losing team to play with us. Let them join. We had a team of 6 before long. And met new players. This mode is great in some ways. But yes if a red bar gets the rift it can be very difficult to kill them. We just left the lobby after the game if weird things were happening. But it was only like 3 out of 15 to 20 games.
-
You're asking for a bad time without a fireteam. I went in solo and did well which is super rare lol
-
I have only played two games but at the start of the second game I got a reaper medal and ignited the rift. I killed their entire team lol
