23 RepliesSnipers dont' suck. The skill requirements for their use have just been raised. Because you can't count on being able get off precision shots and drag-scopes while someone's bullets are bouncing off your head.

1 ReplySnipers are still op a you can drag scope b you can get into that scope faster than any primary can kill you and only pulse rife give you enough finch I meet people who still pull off headshots after being shot 5 times with a scout rife. C you can walk at top speed while scope and scope says in centre you should try duck taped snipers and see how easy it is to shade step look at the radar and get back into the scope while dodaging bullets. My kd says nothing about how skilled I am I do things you could never do like defining gravity on a hunter. Although being able to get kills while duck taped scoped is not actually difficult than normal sniper controls just fun to do.

Nlb just killed both your points with 1 weapon

Snipers are fine, and players are still using them with success. I see less and less clever dragons the more pvp I play. As of now the crucible has some of the most diversity it's ever had. It could be where I'm getting matched into but, I see it all being used. Every class of primary, secondary, and heavy. There are a lot of good weapons out there besides a clever dragon and matador. Fusions are godlike now, I can't believe how good they are.

I'm good with not being headshot the microsecond my head peaks around every corner. Atleast with shotguns you've got the radar to give some warning.

Just watch: something people want to be fixed and then a month later they will be like "nvm change it back"

In my experience i have seen a drop off in the old clever dragon usage of late

Edited by HalfY: 12/1/2016 9:45:44 AMHave you tired playing any other games to get your PvP fix? There are soooo many good games out there right now which offer a PvP experience which is FAR superior to what Destiny offers. If you are that annoyed with the meta then seriously just put this game down for a bit and pick up another title.
I -blam!-ing love Destiny, even with the ever changing metas as it kepts it kinda fresh when the meta changes. This current meta, IMO, is actually very diverse compared to what we've had in the past, but I am done with the PvP side of this game. It's complete trash compared other games which have PvP. For me its mostly the lag and god awful netcode which ruins the experience. Until thats sorted I'm gonna avoid PvP in Destiny as much as possible
Ever tried the MIDA archetype scout rifles? Sidearms? Fusion rifles? There are a lot of weapons in the game that with practice can hang with the fastest killing pulse rifles and hand cannons. It's just very, very tricky to adopt a playstyle that can take advantage of their strengths.

1 ReplyA sniper kills you in the head. Wtf moredo yu want? Eat lead to the face and still land headshots? Lol bye.

I would much rather prefer broken (fun asf) year 1 crucible where everything is powerful and strong in PVP AND PVE personally and see a return of raids if u do that bungie destiny lack of content wont be a primary issue if everyone is having fun using the guns THEY love

1 ReplyPerhaps the meta isn't really great right now, but pretty much every weapon in the game is useable(maybe not auto rifles). I don't know how you play, but if you always use the same few weapons in the same weapon types, you should try more diverse stuff. I recommend using sidearms.

There are tamer roller-coasters at Six Flags: Belgium than there are in these forums.

I sure wouldn't mind if a sniper rifle was a little easier to use, but other than that I don't really have a problem with the current meta. I use Mida Multi-Tool, Palindrome, Hawksaw, Hopscotch Pilgrim, etc. and they seem to work fine in the Crucible. However, in close quarters and in some maps, I'm going with a shotgun.
