REMOVE SBMM
lol I can't rant about this enough but it needs to go away. Your players will enjoy CBMM (ConnectionBasedMatchMaking) a lot more. Just listen to the community plz.

They should change it I hate having to play against a whole fireteam of red bars but they win because of lag I've been streaming and reporting everybody i see lagging that i can't even shoot

all of the manipulation that goes on to try and guarantee fairness of outcome is patently socialist, and a dismal failure. provide fairness of opportunity by focusing ONLY on the best possible connection in the given architecture to all players.

I can deal with that and it gives me the opportunity to adjust myself and sometimes grow as a player... The frustrating part is the unbearable lag!! Since November there is literally not a single match without at least 1 red bar for me... This is only possible because "skill" or whatever measurement they use to create matches has to be 90% prioritized.... For me the most important factor is fairness to all sides which can only be given by going back to CBMM (Connection being 80 % prioritized for example) They shouldnt abolish SBMM completely but adjust it in favor of connection, so everybody can enjoy crucible again and also be challenged!

It's not the sbmm that's causing this. It's your connections and lack of a dedicated server. My KD is low b cause I never cared. So they match me with people around .95 KD and I -blam!-ing love it. I finish every match in first place for the most part. My KD ranges from 1.0 to 3.0 in every match. It's fun hahaha. Sometimes you run into someone lagging but whoooooo careeees? It's just a game nerds.

They are all better players and in Australia, so if one of them hosts I'm a red barred brick. Dragging the team down as I die to teleporting titans, invisible warlocks, and, invulnerable hunters. If I host they have an easier time opponents wise; but get can't pick up ammo crates or open doors. Sbmm doesn't work on pure p2p. Maybe if you had dedicated servers. But the internet isn't homogeneous. It suffers wildly varying quality around the world. And just because the guy in Zanzibar and the guy in Oslo have great internet, doesn't mean the thousands of kilometres of internet infrastructure wired between them is of similar stock. Go back to cbmm. Or upgrade to regional servers. I for one won't buy Destiny 2 without one of the two. And I encourage anyone reading this to take a similar stance.
