This has been a problem and one which is real and effecting many people. Have a look at this site: http://www.olganon.org/forum/i-need-help-spousessignificant-others/bf-was-addicted-destiny-thank-goodness-i-found-place This is a real phenomenon. Don't expect Bungie to do anything about this other than tell you the obvious. There indeed are many aspects of this game that borrow directly from the gaming industry (as in gambling). Bungie benefits by holding onto community size which in turn lengthens the life span of the game, most of which requires other gamers. This increases sales, not only for the game on DLC, but for the hard core addicted, they offer in game item purchases for real money. Like any addiction, telling someone who's struggling with this to "strike a balance" is like telling a junkie to stop shooting up. If you've recognized the problem, that's the first step. From there it's conjuring up the willpower to turn the game machine off. Take a look at the number of DAYS (full, 24 hours of play days!) of your life you've spent playing in the last 12 months. You may be surprised. My time has come. One more gun or bounty or Aksis challenge won't make a damned bit of difference one way or the other. Getting back to the gym though, could save my life. Good luck to you all!
