4 RepliesI've never used these websites, but if Bungie asked me I would have them not spend money on lawyers to shut them down but instead spend that money making the game more consistently fun, rather than 70% enjoyment and 30% work to unlock that enjoyment (as it sometimes feels). The fact that there is a market for this should be the real problem. People are literally paying other people to sit on the couch and play games so they do not have to! That should say something about what a grind Destiny is.

7 RepliesCash-hungry nerds of a feather... Bungie doesn't care. More raid completions looks better for them anyway. Some sucker had to pay money because he has the social skills of an autistic gorilla? That sucks for him, no one else. Strip clubs and brothels have been profiting off of those same dorks since time began.
-
I dont get why Bungie would shut that sort of thing down. I mean, it's not for me but to each his or her own. I tend to just enjoy my own lawn, instead of covering my neighbor's, know what I'm saying?
-
2 RepliesReminds me of the old saying, "if you are good at something never do it for free." However its still ridiculous to charge that much for something that literally takes a few hours at the absolutely most with a few other ppl. But with how elitist things are with raiders nowadays im not surprised.

The game itself is 60 dollars. Wtf??

3 RepliesI will write your posts to this thread for... $25 - quick witty response $50 - mid-length missive with link to another posts blather $100 - 6 paragraphs of ALL CAPS ranting to make you look angry and thoughtful
-
10 RepliesSince it appears that the original thread was edited by a ninja - I can only assume based on the various responses that this is related to those pay to play sites.. I'm in full agreement that this needs to stop and Bungie really needs to step up enforcing their own ToU/ToS. However, it shouldn't just be for these pay to play sites - it needs to expand to any Streamer or Twitch channel that offers basically the same type of service regardless of them calling it donations. They are in fact commercializing (profiting) from Destiny and from Bungie.

152 RepliesEdited by PapaSubpar: 9/29/2016 10:36:16 PMWhat boggles my mind, is that there are actually people in this thread, defending this type of thing. Freaking Millennials think that they are so entitled, that it is not even funny. edit: Millennials are so easy to TRIGGER

55 dollars for a normal raid run? That's messed up.
-
3 RepliesIf Bungie.net is smart, they will start suspending these types of users from the game. Absolutely ridiculous.
-
What are yall talking about?
-
10 Replies$150 for the crucible part in the record book? I'll do it for only $100

The thing is, there is an old saying that if you are good at doing something, try to get something out of it. If that is the case, then why have those carriers? The money is what they want if people are willing to pay that much, than kudos to the carrier or whoever it is. I see your point though. It does get a bit rediculous when I see something like that.

1 ReplyIt's sad, the point of a video game is to experience it. ~TheGreatNike

Edited by Michelob21: 9/29/2016 8:58:31 PMIf someone finds value in paying for that service, go for it. Personally, I play the game for fun and don't care enough about it to pay for digital items. I can tell you I've blown far more money than that on a random night out, though, on multiple occasions. Everyone has their own entertainment budget.
-
2 RepliesI'm not going to spend money for it, but I'm not a financial adviser, nor do I need to know anyones entertainment budget. With those things being said, I don't care how anyone spends their money.
-
That's over priced as hell, like all their stuff. What a rip off. If it's a 3 hour quest then it should be a lot cheaper than that lol.
-
lol 350 ? i did that shit while having fun for free.
-
Activision don't care. It's the same kids buying silver anyway.
-
7 RepliesAnyone else confused?

Agreed

1 ReplyDo you all not realize how easy it is to put them out of business. Simply help out your fellow gamer. If you can do the raid or go flawless in trials and don't mind helping people than offer that for free. It's that simple.

Edited by The Lord Guardian: 9/29/2016 10:31:26 PM"Millenials" wouldn't exist if the generation before wasn't a bunch of lazy hippies and war mongers.
-
Wow -blam!-ing unbelievable why even play if your just going to have someone else do everything for you... Isn't the point of gaming to have fun anymore lol
-
5 RepliesIf someone is stupid enough to pay for that, then let them burn their money (or their parent's money I should probably say) It's kinda pathetic. Let them be pathetic though, it is a free country. The world is full of scams and cons where people are trying to make money a dirty way... that's just the way it is. Just don't be one of the dumba$$e$ who fall for it, that's all one can do!
