The warlocks that have the other close range roaming super have quite the speed when using it. The reason for this is because they have speed boost while in stormtrance. Arc Blade Hunters don't have quite as much speed sadly. When the Nerf came along that we would have to use our strikes accurately I was kinda sad. Blade dancers supers are supposed to be accurate yes I agree. But with that, we used our supers to get around and get to enemies quicker. That's why I liked the sublass. With this I suppose that we get a speed buff just like storm callers have. But maybe better considering we have to be accurate when swinging.
Edit: Thank you for posting your opinions and we are trending. :)
Edit 2: Thank you all for sharing your opinions, and I now have to turn off notification from you all, Because my phone is blowing up.
Edit 3: Do you guys think I should make a poll for this???
-
Buff it by 0.04%.
-
Just bring back the ability to swing and miss without it costing you 20% of your super...problem solved. It is that nerf that is ruining Bladedancer right now.
-
Hunter supers are easy to shut down but that's well worth the versatility they provide. A small increase to the speed would be good from the p.o.v i play blade dancer but not necessary.
-
Why? Seems to be fine to me. You guys practically steam roll almost everybody in the Crucible. That's the balance: you get in close, chop everyone to pieces and if you're too far from the enemy then maybe it wasn't the best moment to use it.

6 RepliesNah, just fix the -blam!-ing hit detection already. I need a consistent super
-
18 RepliesBad idea. Bad bad bad. It already lasts way way too long as it is. The amount of times I get killed and spawn back in only to have the same POS talentless Fagdancer make his way all the way around the map and kill me AGAIN is unbelievable
-
21 RepliesStormcallers have no speed boost. Bladedancers have cheap Hungering blade.

Edited by Sd Kfz 1824985: 9/4/2016 1:45:55 AMDude, you already get that annoying tracking whenever you swipe, and it's extremely difficult to stay alive when I'm in my bubble. Increasing speed would make them even more difficult to take care of, even if I try to suppress them.

6 RepliesBlade Dancer is my favorite class and it SUCKS :(... Literally EVERYTHING yes EVERYTHING is a counter to Arc Blade. Most primaries + melee=dead/trade, Universal Remote=dead, sniper=dead, shotgun=dead, heavy=dead, gernades=dead, suppressor gernades=CRY, warlock punches=dead, Titan skating=CRY, Fist of Havoc=dead, (PS BURNINHELL FOH I HATE YOU) Hammers=dead, AoL Bubble=dead, Nova Bomb=dead, Radiance=trade/dead, Stormtrance=dead, Tether=CRY, Golden Gun=dead, ARC BLADE OP PLZ NERF

Bump :(

3 RepliesLose the hunter give up on the hunter you nerd

4 RepliesMask of the Third Man?
-
4 RepliesThis is a joke right? You can already blink and button mash arcblade to move like a crack addict across the map.
-
12 RepliesLol. So the #1 subclass can be even better? No.
-
6 RepliesThere only seems to be a reward in this proposal, where is the risk? Let bladedancers move faster during bladedance, but their bladedance does not last as long. Better.
-
I agree. Bladedancer is supposed to be quick and accurate, but it lacks the quick part (unless you use half your super energy swiping the air).
-
36 RepliesYeh stormtrance is faster and is longrange. How it stands now . Stormtrance is a better version of bladedance.. Hammers are a better version of golden gun. 😂Nova is a better version of tether.😂
-
I think they need an armour buff. You can shotgun melee every super, but it's so easy to do it to a bladedancer because he's comming right at you. If you try to do that to a sunbreaker that just look at you like your a dumbass and throw a hammer at your face.

-
I think the speed should be turned up for Hunters in general.
-
20 RepliesI think they get an armor buff though, I don't believe we Warlocks do. Correct me if I'm wrong.
I'm Oryx, and this is dreadnaught. I work here with my old worm and my son, Big Scrota. Everything in here has a grind and a reward. One thing I've learned after 21 eons - you never know WHAT is gonna come through that hull breach.
-
Nope. Blade dancers are fine as is
-
6 RepliesHow about no? We can't equate all roaming supers against each other since they are so different. Ie. Sunsinger does not compare well against stormtrance. The perks for speed are already available on the blade dancer. Blade Dancers have the fastest movement speed ability (Blink) with a build designed for High Armor and agility, with regen on kills. Not to mention the base sprint speed increase thats included as a perk. I get killed by enough blade dancers to know you can't easily outrun them on most maps.

11 RepliesEdited by Pyloxious: 9/1/2016 6:00:03 PMStormcallers gets a speed buff?! Wow. I didn't know that. No, seriously I didn't know that. All I see from the replies are Stormcallers have a Range Attack, moves fast with Ionic Blink. But you Bladedancers forgot a few points. Ionic Blink consumes Super Energy, normal Blink for Bladedancer doesn't. It takes a few zaps to down a Guardian, all you need is a swipe to down someone. Stormcallers have Range compared to Bladedancers, but you have Hungering Blade to compensate for that. So, do I think the Supers are balanced? Yes I do. Do I think Titan Skating is OP? No, it takes skill to maneuver with it efficiently. Be greatful that the Titan decide to Skate away and not Fist of Panic. Lol

My bad BladeDancer radar is going wild. I really wonder how people have trouble using BD, it amazes me
-
Lmfao no. You compare arc blade to stormtrance, but as it is Arc Blade can 2 swipe a stormcaller mid super and carry on. Hunters don't need more speed, you just need to git gud.
