Title.
It'd be nice to know...
Edit: To those of you saying it would promote hate mail: wouldn't a low kill count also promote hate mail? People don't really hate on eachother for low kill count after a strike, so why would they do it for this?
This would simply be another statistic that we can look at and use for self evaluation and improvement. They should also add other stats such as assists, total damage dealt, orbs generated, majors killed, how long it took, revives, etc. It can be useful information to help us better our performance all around.
For groups of friends who play with eachother consistently, it could even promote some friendly competition.
Edit 2: Someone mentioned showing what medals you earned after each Crucible match. I like this idea a lot too! We need to see how well we did Bungie! More stats can't hurt. Negative people will always be negative and they'll send hate mail regardless. If you get hate mail, who cares? You finished the strike, ignore them. Use the stats to your advantage so you can improve your play, it's beneficial to new guardians and experienced veterans alike. We all have room for improvement.

2 RepliesI think it would be a neat stat to have show. I like how that info is displayed when you wipe in the KF raid. Thought it was pretty cool to see if damage was being distributed evenly across everyone in your fireteam or if someone was doing a bit of backpacking.

15 RepliesEdited by yoyage: 8/17/2016 7:56:23 AMThose stats can be deceptive to actually contribution during that boss for example I always shoot all the ads during sisters kills in raid so theres litterally none there between the two kills, sometimes do the same sorta thing in strikes, I personally don't care either way, just a thought, so my boss damage stat would be minimal at times

-
Yeah, so when my friend has 5 kills, I can bust him for his "I'm doing DPS" excuse
-
This should exist, its already in raids so why not?
-
2 RepliesPlease add tea bags dealt statistic after every crucible match thanks
-
Apart from just being interested in the stat, (because who hates more stats) I'd love to see it because I know I and others don't usually get a lot of kills every time, but may have really helped down the boss far more than everyone else. The medals thing at the end of a match goes without saying. Make that more like halo 3/reach please, there was no reason to go backwards on things like that and hiding them.
-
I like this idea, just like in WoW
-
People who don't shoot the boss be like "nooooooooooooo!"
-
I think that would be a cool idea. They have it in the raid after the War Priest fight. Don't see why strikes can't have it
-
This will turn bad I assure you. No need for it. Kill the boss win the loot.
-
Good idea, and already happening in the raids (wipe screen).
-
Can we also have how much health they have, rather then a vague health bar?.
-
Good idea
-
I'd send hate mail but I'm usually busy spamming my revive button or pealing myself off the boot of a boss to think of anything witty to say!
-
Bungie didn't fix the precision kills or orbs generated for about a year, whilst I support this I can't see it coming till D2

Edited by OriginalMrDave: 8/17/2016 10:16:18 AMIt would be another stat but not sure how much you really learn from it. If you went into a boss battle and it was just 1 v 3 then obviously the amount of damage dealt would be a viable stat. However in most destiny boss fights there quite a high level of crowd control required to in order to successfully beat the boss without being killed by a swarm of other enemies. It's also worth noting that upon a wipe in raid situations where boss damage is a bit more linear it is actually shown (Golgoroth and warpriest).

I thought about it so many times ! It would be great !

1 ReplyPeople still strike?
-
You can see some stats already after a strike such as revives, orbs generated, assist, etc.
-
10 RepliesI tend to focus on the boss so always have low kill counts that make me look like a loser. It would be nice for people like me.
-
Yes please and not only to strikes even to raids after the boss is dead.
-
Good idea. Sucks you only get to see how much damage you do on a wipe. I vote they add a salty tears category to the forums as well.
