Buffing hand cannons means the last word gets buffed

Or they could just return it to a pre nerf state and make it a special weapon instead of a primary.

Buff handcannons across the board and remove the bloom effect but make them a SPECIAL weapon like they were in early vidoes of Destiny.

Screw TLW and thorn they killed HCs.... Give them both 6 round mags, like thorn used to be...

Thorn was a beast in the crucible before they touched it. Ppl just complained as always and it got way too many buffs. I wish I could use the thorn the way it was at the start.

Drop off range needs to severely affect handcannons with that low of range. Anything past shotgun range should start reducing its damage. All other handcannon drop off damage is good currently.

Or you could do what should have been done from the beginning and separated the exotics from the legendaries since tlw can barely be considered a handcannon and Thorn has its own barrel full of monkeys with its balancing issues. Hawkmoon is almost a legendary and ace of spades is...ace of spades. Nerfing all handcannons because of thorn and tlw would be like nerfing all fusions because of Vex Myrhocla....wait

You do realize in the past few updates bungie has been nerfing and buffing specific weapons based on the buffs and nerfs to the type of weapon. Now if they'd just do that for handcannons that'd be great

Nope, it's fine as it is. Anything outside of close mid and headshots register for 30-40 which is already pitiful. Stop complaining about a hand cannon whose only exotic perk has become that it can fire in full auto. And that's directed at everyone still trying to "balance" an already balanced gun. Hand Cannons as a whole need a buff. They went from being deadly precision guns to RNG pellet guns.

I could argue that even TLW could use a general buff. Even it ghosts quite a few shots, but it can usually compensate by shooting fast. Although sometimes you end up with needing 7 or 8 bullets to kill a single person. Hand Cannons were amazing precision weapons. Now they're mostly a joke. It's quite depressing actually.

That's what I'm saying though, hc including tlw need to hit where you aim. If that's the case with tlw though it will outgun at range which is why I suggested the higher damage drop off.

I'm not arguing with you, I'm just saying that I disagree with your TLW fall off nerf. It already does such little damage at just outside of close range, it's pretty sad. The fact that you need most of your clip to kill one enemy is a bit much. Before if you were good with hipfiring you could compensate by getting the extra hip fire damage, but now it doesn't matter how good you are because TLW has become a normal gun with its only perk being that it can fire in full auto.

The only real buff that hand cannons need isn't a buff imo, it's a fix. The mechanics of these things are absolutely broken, there is no need for them to act the way they do, tlw would be fine with a ghost bullet fix and that's it.
