Can a failure controller cause (input) lag?
Just asking cause when i play with my scuff controller the game feels much slower (cod and destiny) when i play with my sony default controller everything works fine and the game lag less.

Scuf controllers suck. So expensive but so cheaply made.

SCUFs are known to not last that long, so it is probably the controller. Try playing with a stock controller and see if you notice anything.
