Day/Year 1 players, what do you miss most?
Time to take a smooth ride back down memory lane.
Let nostalgia sweep over you like the cool darkness of an autumn night.
I sorely miss the summoning pits. Everyone complained how it was too tedious and simply the world's greatest bullet sponge, but something about it I liked...maybe I'm just a masochist.
What do you miss?

I miss killing crota.......in 2 downs..........for pubs..............AS A TITAN!!! Man killed a lot of crotas (tears forming under eyes) twas beautiful :'(

Elemental primaries If they were worried that the game was becoming too easy for us, they could've just made the bad guys tougher, instead of making us weaker

Not having to rely on "three of broken" (3oC) to get exotics, but getting them from activities like crucible, strikes, etc randomly

I miss the mood set by vanilla Destiny. The wonderment of the Vault of Glass. The power when you FINALLY got your Fatebringer or your Icebreaker, or "OMG A Gjallerhorn!!!" Somehow Bungie has managed to water down a great idea, and they've lost some awesome talent along the way. I quit playing last October when that mask event came out. I only recently started playing again. Bungie is being given a second chance (with me anyway). DON'T BLOW IT!!!

Exotic bounties, nightfall, weekly heroic, exotic drops where one a month felt amazing, elemental primaries.

The real grind. Instead of shitty 3oC use for every ultra.. They should change 3oC that its only effective for raid bosses. Giving the small chance for 2 exotics. 1 regular drop and 1 from 3oC.

Having a full list of friends who play Destiny Elemental Primaries i.e. Raid loot that was actually exciting Nightfall rep boost and rewards that are actually worthy of running the Nightfall Exotic Bounties Wolfpack Rounds

Year one was just more fun. Glowing heads from Doing Nightfalls, running VoG, primaries with elemental burns. Now it's just... What it is

Exotic bounties they would always come up at right times for me. Like when I accidentally dismantled my boots I legit said; "Ah shit!" then proceeded to turn in a bounty and it was my first exotic one. I got 3 in year one: bad juju, thorn, and super good advice.

VoG also had a very different feel to it all the other raids were straight forward like you knew what to do while VoG was just a cave and you spent 70% of the raid in one area doing multiple things.
