Ok so there are alot of guardians out there who insist on a quick t-bag after a kill; personally it doesn't bother me but most people I game with rage a little after a bagging. Now how about a wave?
Is this friendly game play or does it come across a little bit smug?
I'm actually that terrible at pvp so I've hardly the ability to notice anyway. It has been a topic of convo in our fireteams; interested to see what others think

2 RepliesI find it funny. I tend to grieve after i killed someone for the same reason.
-
3 RepliesI either do the wave or disagree emote. I'm thinking about changing it up to the bow or scheme emote. Yeah, that's what I need to do.
-
It can be annoying, but it's not offensive
-
2 RepliesF no. If people find it offensive that's pathetic rofl.
-
3 RepliesAny gesture after a kill can be considered offensive. Bungie knows this and has capitalized on it with emotes.
-
Ill only do a wave or dance if the kill was particularly good or I came out on top after an epic 1 on 1 battle. Multi kills on a heavy spawn ALWAYS warrants a bow 😆
-
Personally i take "wave" as nice try you almost had me. Close but no cigar

1 ReplyBagging is reserved for campers in mayhem. Waving is typically a "I finally got you back, gg." For me.
-
I try and summer them back from the dead to get down.
-
As kind as I'm not getting tea bagged, I find it all good fun.
-
Emotes with a lot of potential misinterpretation. It would be nice to have a good shot good game no sarcasm emote and a flat out middle finger one too
-
1 ReplyThe problem is you are worried enuff to ask this question. Thats the real problem.

9 RepliesEmoting and Teabagging are essentially the same thing. I don't mind it, I think Teabagging is funnier but neither is offensive. What I do mind is the droves of destiny players that ride around in their high horse telling everyone that, "Teabagging is wrong" but slow-clap is a-ok. Yeah, right mate. Showing contempt for another player by crouching over their dead body is way out of line, but showing contempt for them by a douchey emote is perfectly acceptable.

1 ReplyI usually dance after i respawn from being killed. Get tons of hate mail from it

Edited by standto2004: 7/13/2016 5:05:35 PMSometimes I wave to people or dance while they kill me. I thought that wave was more a sign of respect and the t bag was offensive

2 RepliesSeems sarcastic to me

I actually like seeing people use any emote. There are some pretty creative ones. I really wish we could assign more than one though.
-
I love the come at me emote I do it when I kill people or in my bubble or just outside my bubble or when people kill them self
-
The only emote I do is the formal bow after a throwing knife kill.
-
Killing someone in general is offensive.
-
1 ReplyI usually do this to teabaggers everytime I see then as long as with the clapping emote
-
2 RepliesI wave when I kill hard scope knobheads who think they are hidden away. Kinda like "hi I can see you". I'm constantly changing emotes throughout the match though. Fistbump, laugh, tantrum, blowing a kiss to piss em off lol
-
1 ReplySometimes I wave after I kill a player that keeps trying to hardscope me while I land critical hits.... that gesture is not the most gracious and I admit that. However, there are times I will wave after a respawn because I have to acknowledge the other player for the way they killed me. I usually do this just when I am playing a 3v3 though.

1 ReplyUsually I think of it more as "GG no re" But it usually results in tbagging
-
1 ReplyI wave when someone kills me with a good shot or just plain bested me in a gunfight. I hope they didn't take it wrong. Would be cool to have emotes to say nice shot.

1 ReplyI normally laugh at a good bagging, If its a skill based kill. If they get lucky in the kill and teabag, I bag them every time I kill em. As for a wave, it wouldn't bother me in the slightest.
