Gave a group their flawless by leaving...their response...
We were invited into their party on PS4 and they begged us to leave so they could win.
We were slightly stacked. (I'm 2200 elo and my friend is 1900)
Since it was their flawless we left because we felt bad.
Then the guy who was carrying started trashing us calling us "Scrubs" for leaving.
What did I learn from this : Never help anyone in Destiny because they don't appreciate any of it.
Edit : Thanks everyone for the support. Not going to list his name since I'm not an ass.
I'm just in shock that after what we did, I'd never expect for them to sit there and insult and disrespect us.
Edit 2 : I'm not mad about the loss. Just mad at that guys response. We put trust on them and it backfired.

I just don't give a shit about other players. If I need a flawless I need a flawless. Ain't wasting time and passage coins on shitty teams. If somebody left for my team to win I wouldn't talk trash. I'd actually thank them and invite them for my next run.

Another problem, trials has made this community so toxic its crazy. Really really bad, bungie needs to rethink the whole thing, they have lost so many year 2 players because of the system alone. Its toxic to the game.

I can solo the crota raid for my flawless raider all day, but when it comes to crucible, ill trip over the first stone on the ground.... if I got a lighthouse, I'd pretty much drop a dookie at the spawn point, and do the awoken dance >_>

2 RepliesWhat do expect from this community dude? These are people that are at each other throats over every little thing whether it be different console or just different classes/sub-classes. This is a community that gave a guy that just had brain surgery shit because he got fate of all fools and didn't "Earn it". This is a community that made fun of a kid for his faith in other players after he had his character deleted and some of his weapons deleted. This is a community that constantly mocks those that are less fortunate than others. This is a community that has laughed at suicides and death of other players that have happened in real life.

That happens to me in real life all the time but I still help people. Just because a few people don't accept your kindness docent mean you should give up. That just means they missed out. I won't say that you'll get the good things that are coming to you(believe me, I'm still waiting for those things), but know that your acts if kindness affect and inspire others, like the people of this forum.

I agree with the idea that you cannot let a few jerks ruin this game for you. I truly believe at its core, destiny has a community of people that want to help our fellow guardians because it is a game that is best played with others. Besides, the feeling you get from helping someone is better than any loot we may earn!

Here is the truth: they will never be able to go flawless again. In life, if someone does something nice for you and you treat them like shit, Life wont be nice to you. But don't change because of this bad experience. Of course, next time, don't give another team a free win. Make them earn flawless. I only went flawless once and that's due to me and my 2 squad mates actually busting our asses off every match. If we ever encounter you in trials, we will probably lose the fight. But I'll send you a GG and a thanks for not giving us a free win.

1 ReplyThe crucible is filled with a bunch of elitest assholes. I spawned into a sweaty match the other day against a team of 3. It was a late join. The first thing I see is an arc blade coming at me when I join. Then on my next spawn a goldie is mid air in front of me. Then the next spawn a tether. My teammates were terrible, the good players that left the match probably got annoyed by the sweat and backed out. I managed to break even somehow and just toughed it out. One of the guys calls me terrible, asks my kd which I reply is 1.4 overall across all characters. (which is very solid especially since I sucked early in year 1) for the past year I average about a 1.5-1.6, Which according to the numbers is a really good player. Turns out he was a streamer with like a 2+ kd but i outgunned him twice while his only kill on me was a super on spawn. He called me terrible, said my kd was trash. Etc. What a prick. Some of these guys think they are so damn superior in every facet of life just because they have better numbers than you. More often than not they have padded stats from pubstomping yet they have the audacity to call my solo kd trash. These guys are pure losers.

Nah Hoss, there are a lot of us players that are very thankful for any help we can get. I know from my own experience, it is nice even having 1 other player there to watch your back or avenge you!

I've never been flawless but if someone were to be given a flawless or carried and they respond with that then they didn't deserve it in the first place
