Just went 13-1 in iron banner as a defender AMA
Defender where have you been all my life!? This class is amazing!! The grenades are good, the shields are good, your teammates all love you, no back up plans=AMAZING, I never knew the defender life was so glamorous! And I haven't even maxed out the class or the armor!!
Edit:My load out was no back up plans, with a party crasher, the grasp of malok and a truth

Had so much fun running my defender today (I run a sniper rather than a shotgun). Especially when I'd drop my bubble and an enemy would stand outside of it staring at me. Usually drop em a wave or two and then rush out and get that good sticky grenade on their face. I don't see a need for a shotgun, if they're in my bubble my armor of light is going to let me bare knuckle brawl for days.

All that armor of light bubble is is a super target. Now if used at choke points or hallways fine. I almost want to hate mail anyone running armor because it does no help for the team unless someone is dumb enough to challenge you in it.
