Dark Souls III or Witcher 3
Steam has both on sale and I'm undecide on which game to purchase. They both look great but I've been reading up, and people are saying the combat in Witcher gets stale fast. I dont want to get bored and never end up finishing it. How does it compare to Dark Souls?

1 ReplyWitcher 3 all the way for me. I've played through it 3 times now, still love it. Dark Souls 3 was okay for a play through but it's just more of the same, starting to get a bit bored of them now.

1 ReplyTW3. Best game I've ever played. Dark Souls 3 is fantastic but the PvP is... bad. So there's no point in going through NG+. Not to mention the game is pretty short.

It's whatever is your favorite. Have you played the previous iterations of each game? Ppl are going to argue which game they love more, but they're both awesome for their own very different reasons

The combat is fine in the Witcher. But you are not playing that game for the combat.

3 RepliesThe Witcher 3 is the best game of this console generation. The end. Dark Souls 3...idk. I can't help but feel a little disappointed by it. It innovates on the formula in some neat ways, but for whatever reason I just have no desire to continue to play it for hours on end the way I did the previous two games in the series.

The Witcher 3 is the best game I have ever played. If you get a little bored with the combat, improve your Gwent deck, do horse races, out just read the rich character bios. The story is so rich and rewarding. If I could choose one game to have for the Xbox one, it'd be the Witcher 3. So much content. So much fun. Wow.

Story, lore, and characters of the witcher are fantastic. Dark souls 3 has excellent gameplay and boss fights, some of the best in the series. I recommend both games, as they are both masterpieces.

Witcher for story, dark souls for game play. My personal preference is Witcher 3 because I love to RP.

I got bored with the Witcher and I have not stopped playing Dark Souls 3 if that helps.
