Shoulder Charging Titans
okay, I don't care if you don't like my post. that being read... enjoy the rant.
SC needs a nerf.
it is OP as hell. now that being said, I don't have a problem with SC on its face value. a secondary melee. sure but either make it use the melee cooldown for a 1HK or make it a 2 HK. as in if you use SC without the melee cooldown being complete then it doesn't do lethal damage. OR
give the other classes a way to counter the SC. I have used my melee many a time to counter the SC to the death of my guardian. often it is a kill for the SC titan also but not always. so
long story short.
1.either keep it the way it is and give the other classes the same thing.(non-nerf)
2.keep it the way it is and make it require the melee charge to 1HK otherwise its a 2HK (non-nerf)
OR
3.nerf it so they can continue to spam it like they all do because they cant fight and let it be a standard 2HK (like all melee W/O using a full charge)
these 3 choices are actually very reasonable.
EDIT1: look people. its simple. if you can not add to the post for or against it w/o resulting to lewd or crude posts you will be removed. this is meant to produce conversation and if you can read then look at the OP I listed 2 non nerfs and valid options instead of nerfing it.
EDIT2: wow lookie all these replies. if you cut out the chaff (those that just want to complain or say :git gud" (learn to spell) and so on then it is drawn about 50-50 against and for. many can agree on one point or another listed above) many I have had intelligent conversations with and compromises have been reached on both sides. please continue the discussion. I welcome and enjoy all views expressed but please keep it clean or I will remove the post

12 RepliesNever go full retard.... respect for titan shoulder charge... have you used it? It takes timing and skill. Sure you get lucky sometimes with the unsuspecting gaurdian. But relize this, your getting smashed by a truck at full speed, what you think is gonna happen? Just wipe the dust off? Grow up when you get shoulder charged say damm i got smashed, respawn and continue on.... but dont ever go full retard!!!!!!

This will down the titan as they are now committed to the shoulder charge. If they stop to trade rounds, you already have them half dead. You could also equip a shotgun and drop the titan mid shoulder charge. Or a fusion and do the same from a greater distance. Shoulder charge was never complained about before people had their faces glued to their sniper scopes. Best possible fix: fix shoulder charge mechanics to where sliding immediately disables it so titans can no longer sprint long enough to have shoulder charge, go into a slide and shoot a shotgun and then shoulder charge after shooting. This is an unfair mechanic that people have started to use and it's really easy to pull off but difficult to master and make effective. As a titan main myself I have toyed with this technique a bit, but so far only in PvE to see if it actually worked.

They have to run through your bullets to get to you. If you were unaware of them coming or lacked the skill to kill him you deserve to die. While all classes don't have the ability to OHK melee they have something that can give them a big advantage in melee fight. Flame shield(nerfed) warlocks, invisible hunters. Kepris Sting is a OHK melee on any subclass. All classes have unique abilities. That's why titans can't blink. Only hunters can go invisible. Only warlocks can self rez which is kind of wasted in PvP imo. I don't think warlock have a OHK melee. BUFF WARLOCKS!!!!! lol.

If your maxed out armor, it'll take the Titan SC and a melee too kill you unless he uses greaves.
