Stop being salty about Skyrim Remaster
People are complaining about the skyrim remaster and I don't know why.
"We have mods on PC that make it look better anyway, what's the point?" The remaster is aimed towards a console audience who don't have mods, hell if you have all the DLC and own skyrim on the PC you get the remaster for free. The game is just to hold us over for a year until the next E3 where they will [i]likely[/i] announce a new Elder scrolls.
TL;DR: quit complaining

A game that's about 5 years old shouldn't cost $60 for a remaster. I never played Skyrim but I considered it when I heard the remaster was coming up but a $60 price point for a game I can get for $20 is ridiculous.

Wouldn't you console players rather have a remaster of game you've probably never played as opposed to one you've sank thousands of hours into not 4 years ago?

1 ReplyI'm excited for it, never played because my 360 would freeze at the end of tutorial. Tried 4 different disks, none would play. Yet, every other game I've ever put in that console played just fine. Shitty deal, but now I'll finally get to play it.

Here's my only case for remasters such as this: They're basically cashgrabs. To me there is no purpose to really remaster a game, it's not like you can no longer get it anywhere or the game is unplayable on the older version. In certain cases I can understand, like in the case with The Last of Us where it was an exclusive on a platform no one really had many of so they brought it to the people with PS4 that never had PS3, but other than stuff like that it's pointless. That's also my problem with CoD 4 remastered, it's a multi platform game that you can just play on old gen anyway. It's quite useless

For the thousands of ppl who'd enjoy something, there's always many vocal minor annoyances who will say "this isn't what WE wanted." "Gamers didn't want this" Some how leaving out words such as I, some, or opinion... Ppl who complain about it being a cash grab, boring, etc, somehow skip the simple solution... just don't buy it. I won't be. Millions won't be. But tons will enjoy. Hope those who do get it, enjoy it to the fullest.

They also said that themselves. If TES5 remake is such a "minimal effort cash grab" then how much could it have [i]possibly[/i] pushed back the TES6 release? The answer: Not at all. I've heard pretty much nothing but excitement for it. I mean, I'd have preferred a console anthology, or at least Morrowind and Oblivion back. And no, Bethesda most certainly will not announce TESVI next E3.

3 RepliesI think the main problem is that people are not aware that the remake was something they did as a test when making Fallout 4, in fact they didn't plan to release it but people complained so now they are releasing it I had also hoped that if they did release it it would come with mod support which it is
