Does anybody know a way to solo the level 42 prison and acquire the 30,000 points for the sigil without having a team mate? Why isn't this possible? I have not found a way. It needs to be possible for us solo players, or those who want to solo hit.

It was never ment to be a solo activity. Go to LFG, get to team mates that can vaguely shoot in the right direction. Don;t need to be on mic for CoE, as its just that easy. 1 run 30-45k run 2-3 times for 90k score.

The way I've done it is as follows 6000 1st round 14000 2nd round and final round you should reach 30000 or more. Each round doubles in points. Try it

Gonna copy-and-paste this up here, as you may miss it further down the thread. My loadout on three characters was the same: Bad JuJu 335, 1000k Stare 335, and the Void sword 329 from Varik's. First room, stay right at the entrance. Look right, there's a spawn door. Using Bad Juju, quickly kill the three ads that exit first, then lift your aim for three more coming over the ramp. Pan left and hit a few coming down the hill, then spin all the way left and take down a few of the ones in the center and left. By now mines have formed and the witches are on you. Quickly slip out the right side (remember you cleared it) and run up the ramp, jump through the spiny outcropping sand run just to the right of the upper deck. As you do so you will set off the mines. It's okay, they can't hurt you. Jump down to the bottom of the low alley and recover a sec. You'll see the remaining ads coming for you, so take a few down with precision. When you see the first glimpse of the witches, split out of there and back to the entrance. Now you only have the witches and maybe a couple of ads. You could use sniper (my method) or any strong secondary to knock down the witches. Sticky grenades do a ton of damage, as do swords and supers. Knock them down, and first wave is cleared. Now move just left of the entrance and look at the ridge line above, near the edge of the bridge and the vertical rock line. If you wait in that area you will be given an unobstructed shot at the boss head. I use the 1000 yd Stare, but LDR works well too. 8 shots triggers the next wave, and you repeat. 4 rounds and you kill the boss and net 4-5k easily. Next round is much simpler - rotate left, pause in shielded areas to drop ads with head shots. Be sure to mix up primary and secondary (juggler!). When ads are down 8 shots to head spawns next wave. Lather, rinse, repeat. Now you have around 20k give or take. Final is easiest of all. Move right at start to first spawn door. Kill first three Vex out. Pop back to see the hallway with three more. Now after the boss does his shield thing, look out under the awning. Prioritize killing the three snipers - the rest of the ads are cannon fodder. After they are dead, relax, look for bunches of Vex and kill them on after another for huge bonuses. When they are gone, move to the second spawn door on the right. Just to the right of the shelter, step out, back up, and you can see the boss belly. He cannot shoot you and won't move until he goes for the shield deal. Step back into shelter, step out, and in 8 shots next wave triggers. Do that 4 times and you clear. If you are accurate you will have at least 40,000k.

Whuh-whuh-WHAT?! I have solo'd three characters, hit over 40,000 with ease on all of them, and I'm just a very mediocre player. What in the hell is going on? The first round is the hardest one, and all it needs is a Bad Juju or Zhalo. If you aim straight you can go very long periods without reloading primary. The one and only issue with that round is the two witches that spawn every 25% you take off the boss, and they are just annoying. After that it's a cake walk. I can sum up the strategy in four words. Aim. For. The. Head. This is a troll. It HAS to be a troll...

11 RepliesThe amount of time it will take per round you'll start losing points. So you have to rely on the bonus points for the melee, crit or super kills to even get close solo. I know it's been done but that's a tall order.
