Do you still Raid?(Kings Fall) If so why?
Why would anyone run the same raid that has already been out almost a year?
Why would I raid when the raid weapons are the worst guns in the game and are only used to infuse lol...I don't understand y kings fall end game guns are so bad...remember vog, omg fatebringer...u know other guns, I'm not gonna name them all...n u also could get a vex mythoclast...don't know why kings fall doesn't have a unique primary exotic gun w burn...every other raid did...
I know some people might say for fun but it's not fun when I already ran it 100 times n it's the same mechanic over n over...
On a side note I wish devs would have another op gun that's really hard to get like the galjahorn or however u spell it...it really made people excited about getting loot...n when it dropped u went crazy lol...

What kept myself running a raid numerous times each month was the grind to find its top tier guns. In year one we had the fatebringer and the vex from the Vault Of Glass. [spoiler]Prior 3oC there really wasn't much way to get exotics besides the Nightfalls so it kept players really wanting that exotic chest drop also each reset. [/spoiler] Then came Crota's End. Though viewed as just an extended strike lasting between 30 - 45mins the raid also provided us with the amazing black hammer. Come year two we have the Kings Fall raid. In my opinion the weapons dropped from this raid after all the nerfs to weapon types and the removal of elemental weapons just made them weak to use besides maybe it's machine gun. Hence, if I'm not after a specific raid drop that is worth the time to grind then that's a problem. Why? Well to maximise light today proves worthless with all recommended content at capped at 320.

Kind of? I have a raid team that will message me if they need one so I'll help. It's usually because they're carrying someone new to hard mode and need someone to pick up the slack. So I average about a raid a week.

I don't do KF roo much because it's such a pain in the arse. With most groups and at most CPs, one death causes a wipe. At least with VoG or Crota you still hoss is out with as little as 2 typically...

I have devoted a lot of time recently to helping people who have never been able to do the raid before. Just to help them get the full experience of the game in before it becomes obsolete once again.

2 RepliesThe one thing that drives me crazy is that there isnt a "raid exotic". I know there is the touch of malice but I dont count thats one. Thats a quezt exotic that is a huge help in the raid. There's no raid exotic that people are desperately trying to get like the vex or the Crux for necrochasm. That takes a whole lot away from the experience. Also back when the raid weapons had great SET rolls specific to the weapon, I dont like the random rolls. (I do love cacoon though, great perk) and obviously the primaries without elemental damage.....just nothing that great to gring for.

The only reason to raid is to hit max light. None of the armor/ weapons are worth using. I still do poe and rank up variks because some of the weapons can be pretty good.

I just don't care about the raid. I have challenge and that's easier

I run the raid 3 times a week still, not because I need anything specific but because I like raiding with my clan. We still run VoG and CE sometimes too.

Nope Got a few kills with raid friends and then no one cared to do it Still don't have my HM KF Oryx kill and not really bothered, and with so many ways to hit 335 now and avoid the mess of LFG these days... Why even try Rather go back and run VoG and CE for shards...more value IMO

That's literally the only activity I do in destiny right now. It's the best way to level up and I would like to hit 335. Also since the April update it throws loot at you like trump throws out racial slurs. It's also not hard if you are with a good team. Both the guardians I play on are 334 in their pve gear now, so I can get into any aid party I want. I don't play with kids and only play with experienced players. So it's par for the course to get the raid done in about 40-45 minutes at this point with a good team.

Hell no! Next time they need to make worthy loot. PVE oriented loot would be nice to try and avoid pvp nerfs. Guns. That's what made me raid before.

4 RepliesI haven't raided since Nov. All that raid did was cause problems because everyone thought they were better and knew how to do it and just ended up causing a fight and never completing the raid. Also Kings Fall sucks, I'd rather raid the vault for 4 years then Kings Fall anymore

1 ReplyA large part of doing the raids in year one was the chance at an exotic drop. Exotics are too easy to obtain and with alternative ways to reach max light, doing kings fall is not a must do activity......thank god.

I don't go past golgoroth. I don't like any of the rest of it. I also usually only do it when the warpriest or golgoroth challenge is active. Many only like to do the challenge and it makes it easy for me to join. Not many want someone who is going to stop at golgoroth.

I don't play Kings Fall anymore. Mainly because I never liked it compared to VOG. The rewards are/were shit, I hated the look of the raid gear, and I don't need to. There are many other ways to achieve max light without playing that craptastic raid.
