Did you guys fight the Orphan of Kos?
That guy. I spent a good 6 hours on him yesterday, was so satisfying when I finally beat him.

Really good boss, I just didn't like that if he gets staggered out of an attack it works as an animation cancel. Taking damage for doing well seems silly.

Him and Lawrence were both bastards. Beat em b bit it wasn't easy

I think he was the only boss in the dlc I beat first try. Contrast that with Ludwig who kicked my @ss about 20 times.

Once he gets to the second stage the fight just turns into bullshit where he moves so fast that it seems he can't be punished for whiffing unless you sit in harms way and one touch can mean nearly all, if not all of your HP.

Edited by Murph Tha Smurf: 5/15/2016 5:46:37 PMThe fight I won was like an artistic dance in which we both landed hit after hit on eachother, and I lived after 25 heals and a sliver of hp left. Solo though. I'm better at bloodborne than I am dark souls though, so he was actually easier than most bosses in fighting now.

First time was ng+3. I came very close to breaking my controller several times. I chose to just summon some Bros. Was a cake walk after that hahaha

I found him to be pretty easy, although by the time i had gotten the dlc i was lvl 120+ and not even into ng+

8 RepliesI first went through the dlc on my main who I believe I was on ng+6-7 at the time. Fighting kos was straight up hell with that character. It probably took me 3-4 hours to finally slay his ass. After that, I did it with another character who was on regular ng and I beat him in about 4-5 tries. What a difference. Granted, by the time I faced him with my alternate character I knew his moveset, but I still noticed how much more damage I was doing with my alt.

1 ReplyYep. With a summon. Really the only Boss in the Miyazaki series I'd never consider doing alone. It's just such a ridiculous fight.
