Golden gun is instant death from anywhere on the map. Hammers suck now. I get more kills from those 3 golden gun shots than I do a whole batch of hammers.

Do you have an example of what is too far? It can cross map on the Mars map with the portals... I can't imagine any shots in the game being further than that.

That's the map I tried it on took about two shots per person
