Firebolts are not broken, perfectly balanced

Said no one ever... Good God, Bungie has their head so far up their ass. I can't believe they honestly haven't fixed Sunsingers.

  • Fire bolts were perfectly fine. Incendiary grenades did, and still do, one shot if you land it at their feet. Would you rather be weak or dead?

  • Why dont we reduce the burning time and increase the damage of the grenade itself. This way the grenade would deal the same amount of damage but you would be able to recover faster. This would also be good for arcbolt grenades.

      Also the main reason people run viking funeral and touch of flame is because the other perks for sunsinger are crap. Just so useless. To have this good grenade they had to stack all thier perks on tje grenade. Also if you nerf this you also break the super. How would that be fair? It would break the only warlock support subclass which would just break the entire class all because they beat you a few times. Stop all this complaining. Its so stupid.

    • No. Firebolt is weak as hell. Viking funeral is the real issue. Touch of flame while annoying is actually pretty balanced.

    • And striker lightning grenade doesn't? It does essentially the same amount of damage in one shot and can easily hit everyone twice on the team and wipe them Y'all need to stop complaining about warlock fire grenades, when Titans have lightning grenades and grenades that cancel supers, and hunters have wombo combo that comes back extremely quickly if you're running max Int/Dis. Plus, alongside all of those, you have offensive, aggressive supers. We can just come back to life, and 40% of the time get sniped out of it. I have all 3 characters, and I think with the changes to scorch they balanced the warlock out quite nicely. Y'all really need to stop complaining.

      • Just a heads up because your oblivious. If you nerf firebolts... Which btw, will never be a one shot KO. You will have sunsingers using fusion grenades, which are a one shot, and if they dont directly attach, they will still ignite you, and will cause damage over time because of the ignite. Be careful what your nerf...

        • So sick of these posts. There are other grenades that can kill in one hit or kill Your entire team. Just stop these dumb posts. They are Malignant melanoma in a very late stage.

          Bungie love warlocks. They purposely didn't change firebolts. It's a joke that they even buffed warlocks imo. Bungie are so biased it's unreal.

              • If you toss a sticky grenade at someone, and they kill you before it goes off, you still kill them. If you toss a firebolt at someone, and you die before it goes off, it doesn't proc any damage, let alone any burn. Firebolts need buff

                  • Firebolts with Viking funeral... 1. Throw in general area. Has instant tracking of multiple targets. 2. Tagging someone causes massive damage and damage over time. 3. Damage over time shows damage numbers that let you track the movement of victim through walls making it easier to pursue to sneeze at them and get a kill. 4. Damage over time takes the victim out of ANY engagements for way too long. Yeah. Firebolts are totally balanced and require an extreme amount of skill to use.

                    • I'll trade Touch of Flame for a double B (O for you special needs kids) evade maneuver. Sunsingers don't get blink, so an evade wouldn't break the subclass. Make it fiery, like -blam!-ing Scorpion teleporting and shit. Gets rid of the OP part of that grenade (firebolts alone are pathetically weak) and gives warlocks something to be a bit more mobile than the floofy jump we're stuck with.

                          At least by the time burn wears off and you've escaped the whirlwind of metal from DoP and snipers, then your health regens, your super is nearly ready.
