>playing the MCC because I apparently enjoy this travesty
>rep changes to yellow even though I've basically forgone communicating with randoms
>keep playing with friends like usual
>rep is still yellow, so I can still find games quickly
>go on massive winning streaks in the MCC and Halo 5
>don't play Xbox for a day or two
>rep skips the orange and goes directly to red during that time
>can't find games anymore
>can't increase rep without playing games
>I'm basically banned from Halo online
Did I do something wrong without even knowing it? All I do is play, and since I roll with a team a lot, I win a lot, too. I rarely message people or even talk in-game these days, yet I'm basically banned from multiplayer games because some butthurt jerks can't handle losing. I even checked my reputation on Xbox Enforcement and somebody reported me for my profile picture. I mean, what the hell?
I've heard about how bad rep is on X1 from reddit and Gears players, and I'm aware of rampant blocking and reporting on the MCC, but I didn't know it would happen to me. Is Microsoft so inept that they can't even see that their precious reputation system is broken?
If I can't even play without being reported or blocked, I'll just take that as an incentive to move to PC, because this situation is just stupid.

Edit: I contacted Microsoft about this and have yet to even get my post moderator-approved. Support wasn't helpful at all, as they just told me info straight from the enforcement site. Guess I'm indefinitely stuck on an alt, or at least, I'm stuck on it until people decide to bring my rep down on that account, too.

It's always been, even since the 360.

1 ReplyXbox live rep has been garbage since its inception.

1 ReplyApparently if your better than someone your cheating

16 RepliesOne thing that really irritates me is the rewards program. In the last year, I've spent close to 400$ on the Xbox store and have received literally no credit for it whatsoever. Apparently, I need to have a 5 star rep to get 10% of my purchase's back. What the -blam!- does that have to do with anything? "Nevermind the fact that you're a good customer and buy games from us regularly. The real issue is, how well do you play with other? Oh, not at all? Then no rewards for you". I feel like a little kid throwing a tantrum but shit, it pisses me off

Mine has good rep with perfect track record. And ive had 5 cheating complaints :)
-
Mine just says 'good player'. I don't know what level that is.
-
No-ones reported me for anything. Surprising really because I have dumped on folk (occasionally) in MP, or done slightly mean things that I'd expect an unsporting report for. Ah well, c'est la vie :/
-
Lmao I only have 2 reports of "cheating"
-
I've never gone below green lmao
-
I have 1 messaging report against me... I know exactly who that was too
-
1 ReplyThat sucks, man. I apparently have a perfect record though.
-
Wtf I just checked and two people in the last 6 months reported me for cheating, must've been super salty

They should just remove it. Make it so theres only reporting and banning, no Reputation BS.
-
I have never seen anyone in anything but green.

If you play too good, people report you because they are mad. If you play too bad, people report you because they are mad. I have so many "trash talk" reports and "unsporting" reports. That's what I get for telling people to Ptfo and rampant T-bagging.

Mines green, I just had a couple friends/alts bump it
-
I have no idea what my reputation is
-
Don't know why that happened to you. I only got in deep shit on one occasion with Xbox Enforcement from messaging people for being assholes with certain in-game behavior. I've since learned to keep my messaging squeaky clean, haven't had any problems since.
-
They should take out that stupid shit

3 RepliesI really have a hard time believing your story, you more then likely were doing something to get that many bad reports to drop you rep in less it is just glitched. I play multiple games including MCC and Halo 5 and do win a lot also because I run with groups but my rep never actually goes down. It is possible you ran in to a stretch of real salty players but Microsoft doesn't just ban people for no reason . If you were reported a lot they will sometimes issue a temp ban to investigate the reports but you would need a lot. An Ambassador IK on xbox told me you need at least 50-75 negative reports for any type of investigation or ban to be even considered. And it depends on what you were reported for. So you either ran into tons of salty players or you were doing something that caused you to deserve the ban.

6 RepliesI had no idea the rep system could even lead to you getting banned. Its not really broken. So much as not used properly. Nobody ever looks at your profile to reccomend you as a player, they only to to your profile of they wish to report you, which unfortunately happens a lot when somebody loses terribly. It should not be used to determine whether or not you get banned from Xbox.
-
I've never been reported. I guess I just suck then.

6 Replies3 for cheating, 3 for unsporting. Must've been when my company was pub stomping in H5 warzone last night
