No rewards but glimmer and experience, but super easy enemies to kill, so people could learn to do the raid. Practice.
Yes or no.
Edit: someone below suggested that we have no Glimmer or reward so the people couldn't Farm. Even better I seriously think that many people could benefit from Simply learning the mechanics without everybody yelling at them, such as the elitists and the light level whores.
Don't let a few hundred or perhaps a couple thousand light level whores and elitist ruin it for millions of other players who also spend money and time on the game.

4 Repliesmatch made practice modes that way people can get taught raids and not have to lfg for a group to learn. removes a gate from people getting to end game content and also allows them to maybe hook up with teh group they are with and run it with them after learning. more friends and people to raid with. I dont see any reason why having more people to raid is ever a bad thing.

I would have loved this for crota. I ran that raid more than any of them and had like 1 attempt at using the sword.

It's a great idea. Practice offline so you don't waste the play time of others. Once you understand mechanics, then dial it up on the real thing. Have the different segments broken down individually. Now development time aside, I can't possibly see a counter argument to that which makes sense.

2 RepliesThat's a great idea!! Practise mode then everyone can understand the mechanics. Opposing opinion: 'hell no! You must earn the right to play a raid. You can't just learn the mechanics, that way loads of people would be posting on lfg sites and we can't have that! Being able to raid is an exclusive right for only the most dedicated player.' Schoolofgonzo slaps his palm against his head is utter frustration. There are way better arguments against OMM out their and I wish they were more present on this site. I believe in OMM and will defend it till the full wipe, but please be constructive in your critical response. Just saying no is not a stand point.

1 ReplyEdited by unspoken threats: 4/1/2016 7:04:43 AMAs a follow up post it also could be a quest line that opens up optional matchmaking where after completing 5 of the same raid and mandatorily rating those you're matched with you become eligible for the feature. As payment a 320 infusion piece to use on a weapon/armor or accessory of the players choice. I think we just solved the matchmaking conundrum.

Yes most definitely.
